had 2 go thru three sets of memory cards B4 worked

Posted by: mymusicguy from Dallas on 08/25/2012I spent almost 1 and 1/2 hours getting my Macbook upgraded with memory. It took three sets of memory cards before they worked. Also Best Buys Geek squad person was not very informed about my Apple Macbook. I had to help him and finnaly doing it myself.

However my PC is extremely old so I highly suggest if your thinking about upgrading from 512MB, make sure it can get upgraded to atleast 4GB because 2GB ain't cutting it compared to my home pc and other laptops.

What can I say about memory....?

Anyway, 7 screws and 4 minutes later - voila!! Double the memory and awesome performance enhancement. Not sure of the long-term value of these memory modules, but they fit, they work, and I'm happy. Good purchase and I definitely recommend BB's prices...

Before, I only had 512MB of memory, but with 2GB it is like lightning. Quadrupling your memory is really worth it! Because of this upgrade, I can actually play games, video chat on Skype, and much more. Highly recommend buying this memory, even though the price is a bit high.
