Posted by: from Saucier, MS on 01/27/2013Bought it as a Christmas present, flew it 2 or 3 times, landed on it's nose in the grass and has not worked since. Since the person that it was bought for did not have the reciept Best Buy would not exchange it, so total waste of money and a very dissapointed 9 year old at Christmas

    It's ok, but over priced.

Posted by: from Springfield, OH on 03/11/2012Had this about a day, have flown it several times with no breakage. Except for the paint job this is the same model as an "Attop 919" which you can find a lot of replacement parts for online including battery, gears, even the receiver board. The specs for the attop says it takes about an hour to charge which is what I have found. Flies O.K. I have no real complaints about it. The complaints in some of the reviews are not really justified. If you expect something made of thin plastic that spins at a high rate speed to hit a wall or something and not break then your living in a dream world.

    Broke and can't replace!

Posted by: from on 02/27/2012I crashed my helicoper shorty after I received it. Can NOT get replacement parts from Bestbuy. Found replacement parts online. Ordered them and never got them. What a JOKE!!! Would be nice if Bestbuy would sell spare parts for this product since there is a good chance of it suffering some type of damage. Very disapointed.

Posted by: from Pennsylvania on 02/05/2012Bought this and used several times, hit the wall, blades broke, ordered spare parts and put new blades in and the gears stripped. Get a SYMA or better go to Bannanna Hobby of x heli for a wider selection and better products.

    Simply a blast

Posted by: from wisconsin on 01/07/2012All you need is practice. Flies better than I expected. Common sense and coordination will dictate how long it lasts. It looks alot more fragile than it realy is however. Spare parts are available from the manufacturer and the kit comes with alot of stuff for $10.00!

    Great Beginner Helicopter

Posted by: from Philly on 12/29/2011My first flight lasted about 30 seconds ending with 2 wings shattered into 5 or 6 pieces. I scotched taped the wings neatly back together and reinforced both sides of the other wings with tape as well. The Helicopter works great, very easy to fly and now with scotch tape reinforced wings its a lot more durable. It takes a while to charge for only a few minutes of flight but definitely worth the wait. With practice it is very fun to fly.

    Good intermediate or house flyer

Posted by: from Iowa on 12/20/2011Having went through dozens of cheapo foamy 2 channel birds, I asked my wife for a 3 channel model, she saw this while standing in line at Best Buy and their impulse buy racks worked. I have now flown it through 10 cycles with no problems at all. Since it's heavier, yes it will fly differently than the lighter models as some have referenced, it's not a flaw, it's a matter of physics. That also means it hits the ground harder, but then again, RC choppers aren't meant to be flown high, I've dumped it multiple times from about 6 foot, no damage. Then again you have to know when to give up and let it auto rotate to a bouncy landing instead of recovering, most damage is going to occur when your running full throttle and hot something trying to recover. I spent the first few flights just getting used to basics, hovering turning etc, with each flight it gets easier and I'm able to do more, I'm actually surprised at how well it flys considering it's weight. The average 6-8 minute flight time advertised appears accurate, but my charge times are about an hour, nowhere near the 2 hours the manual says is needed. All in all, for what it cost, I'm certainly having fun with it. I did go ahead and order one of this companies smaller models just in case this one breaks and I needed to wait for parts, but it did come with a few spare blades etc so into the wild blue living room we fly!

    Buy something else

Posted by: from Traverse City, MI on 12/07/2011The helicopter looks cool and it is of substantial size, but the flight characteristics are terrible. Oh, IT"S LOUD! I had one of the TigerJet copters before this one and it was much more fun to fly...indoors, which is what I was looking for. This one will be returned.
