Synopsis

In a world where stickers are blended into every aspect of life, nothing could ruin the annual Sticker Fest more than that rascal Bowser stealing the six Royal Stickers and hiding them throughout the world. Your only choice is to save the day, and of course, you could never let Bowser get the best of you. Hidden secrets, magical mysteries, and action-packed adventures wait around every paper-made turn in your quest to return the Royal Stickers to their rightful place.

Experience traditional action battles and a quest for hidden items in the unique world of Paper Mario. Stuck on him and his ruffian underlings, the stickers have been scattered across deserts, mountains, prairies, forests and volcanoes and your only hope of returning them to the festival is to enlist the help of Kersti, the sticker fairy. By paper-izing the world and flattening it out, you encounter stickers that are incorporated into every aspect of gameplay in a 3D setting that resembles an entire world made of shoebox dioramas. Build up your arsenal of items and attacks and get your sticker fix by buying them in shops, peeling them off their environment or even making your own to store in a notebook for later use. The full cast of colorful characters along with the intriguing paperscape of Mario's world will have you enthusiastically diving into this 3D universe for an epic quest to save Sticker Fest.

Posted by: from Medford,OR on 07/09/2014My son loves Mario games. This is a little tough for him at times he is 4. So I think a 5 or 6 year old would be fine with the puzzle and combat.

Very different and fun take on Mario!
5
Posted by: from on 01/31/2014I loved the paper mario on the N64 and on Gamecube and decided to try out sticker star for my new DS. The story line is always the same, Peach gets kidnapped and has to be saved by Mario. In this case you also have to use the stickers that was at Peachs castle and destroy the enemies. At first I liked it but after I thought I got a hang of it, I was lost. Most games have a hint to keep you moving and adventuring through the plot. This more challenging because I don't see or get the hints that are in this game. Other then this It is a fun game and very original.
