Synopsis

Synopsis
In a world where stickers are blended into every aspect of life, nothing could ruin the annual Sticker Fest more than that rascal Bowser stealing the six Royal Stickers and hiding them throughout the world. Your only choice is to save the day, and of course, you could never let Bowser get the best of you. Hidden secrets, magical mysteries, and action-packed adventures wait around every paper-made turn in your quest to return the Royal Stickers to their rightful place.

Experience traditional action battles and a quest for hidden items in the unique world of Paper Mario. Stuck on him and his ruffian underlings, the stickers have been scattered across deserts, mountains, prairies, forests and volcanoes and your only hope of returning them to the festival is to enlist the help of Kersti, the sticker fairy. By paper-izing the world and flattening it out, you encounter stickers that are incorporated into every aspect of gameplay in a 3D setting that resembles an entire world made of shoebox dioramas. Build up your arsenal of items and attacks and get your sticker fix by buying them in shops, peeling them off their environment or even making your own to store in a notebook for later use. The full cast of colorful characters along with the intriguing paperscape of Mario's world will have you enthusiastically diving into this 3D universe for an epic quest to save Sticker Fest.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star - Nintendo 3DS (17 out of 18)
Good Paper Mario Games for New Fans.

Posted by: from Miami, FL on 05/19/2013Paper Mario Sticker Star has great 3D graphics and Great Music, but Storyline falls short and gameplay is a bit bare bones. I highly recommend this game to New Fans of the Paper Mario Series but not to the Veteran Fans.

Posted by: from West Lafayette, IN on 05/01/2013If you are a hugh fan of Mario franchise, this game is a must. But if you are not, it is nice to have it when it is on sales. Otherwise, it is just an okay game.

Excellent title for purchase

Posted by: from Rochester, NY on 04/13/2013The good titles always command the most money. Nintendo consistently offers good game play for their main stable of characters, bu the cost has remained the same for the past year. I was finally able to buy this at a reasonable price, but of course much later then when it was first released. Worth the wait.

Good Mario game
3
Posted by: from Santa Rosa on 03/23/2013I was expecting the usual Paper Mario game. However, it was more like a Super Mario Bros. game. It lacked a lot of aspects that make the game an RPG. There was less care for the story and some things in the game were not common sense. I would sometimes never Think to take certain stickers with me. There was also no place to put excess stickers for later. If I ran out of stickers, I ran out of luck. I do not even have party members in the game. When I have to paperize, it takes too long to place stickers.

Great Mario title for the 3DS
4
Posted by: from Phoenix, AZ on 03/22/2013This is a great Paper Mario game for the 3DS. The storyline is the typical Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach storyline. The use of stickers as types of attack types in combat is something new and refreshing. Definitely a game that's should be in every Nintendo fan's library.
