Local repair shop tried to fix them but was unable to do so based on how Phillips designed them and how they sell their parts. Do not buy!!! Others reviews are terrible for this product but Best Buys website is positive....?

We used them for about four months and the second screen just stopped working and then the main screen went out too. Called Philips and they were very nice and sent me a replacement. Got those and again all fine for a little bit then they both just stopped working at the same time. Called again and the rep said to clean the lens with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol. She said that they might be need to be cleaned from time to time(no biggie) and they started to work. Couple of weeks went by and they stopped yet again, tried to clean it and nothing happened. Called Philips again today and they offered to send me another one. Each set that I have had has only gotten me about four months of use, so I requested a refund and waiting on a call back about that . Not worth the hassle spend a little more to get a good one.

    Posted by: from cleveland ohio on 07/12/2012I wish I would have read reviews before wasting my time with going to store to buy this, same issue as everyone else, second monitor didn't work right out of the box. I tried the insignia 7' dual monitor and it had some flaws, the buttons are in the front so when my husband is driving, my 4 year old can hit them all and restart the movie, which doesn't make my 2 year old very happy...2nd monitor also stopped working after a day on that one. I then read the reviews on phillips 9' monitor set and they were decent so I bought that one and have had no issues. It seems to be the only player that will start off the video where it left off the last time it was turned on.

    Stopped working after 2 weeks!

We tried unplugging everything starting it all back up again and still no audio. Then, the screen went blank and we tried everything...nothing worked. I misplaced the receipt for it, so I am hoping they will take it back. Very disappointed.

    Motor died quickly

    Posted by: from Parkton, MD on 06/16/2012In about 14 months, this unit died on me. I read reviews of this on the Philips website and they were all poor. Wish I had checked that first. Whereas most of the other users complained that their "slave" screen died, my issue was that the DVD player itself in the "master" screen died. The disc motor is vibrating excessively and it no longer recognizes any disc in the unit. I contacted Customer Service. Because I was beyond the one year warranty they would not replace it. It was recommended that I contact a local repair shop for help... but at these prices, it would likely be as cheap to buy a new one and get the warranty with it. However, my new one will likely not be a Philips.
