My big problem with electric shavers, and the thing that led to my low opinion of them, was the dry shave. That tore up my face. The Norelco, though, can be used wet and that works for me. I would recommend this shaver to anyone who has had poor results with electric shavers in the past. You won't believe how well this one works.

Surprizingly good product. has clipper and pivot

The pivot feature looked like a gimmick to me but I was really surprized that it makes shaving much smoother compared to my old Norelco, which I decided to replace after 7 years of use. Triple head system is way better than those foil types. My first shaver with foil, the blade rubbed the foil full of holes. Tri head lasts years.
I recommend this product. But you will need a separate case.

OK razor if you do not have much facial hair

Posted by: Babyface007 from Schaumburg, IL on 02/24/2013Shaver is only good on certain areas of the face I find myself pressing harder on the neck area to get a close shave and when you do so you get razor burn and skin gets irritated. Manual shaver in my opinion does a better job on the neck area.

Great electric razor

The battery charges very quickly (about an hour for a full charge), which is great. I haven't had it long enough to test its longevity, but my previous Norelco model with a similar battery lasted a very long time. I had it for many years and would go more than a month between charges.
I was disappointed to see that it doesn't come with a slip case to hold the device along with its charging cord and brush. Also, I don't see a light telling me what the charge level is after each use; I suspect it will only warn me when the battery is low, but it would be nice to have more consistent feedback about the charge level.
The hinged top of the electric razor is also quite handy -- it makes the device easier to clean out.
