I tried it dry and it just tore my neck up, scratches and marks all over. I can use it wet with shave cream, but then it's not too close. I wish I didn't buy it.

Very good shaver

This was to replace an old electric shaver that finally died, also from the same brand. What I don't like is that I can not used it while is connected to the wall and that the area of the upper lip is hard to reach due to the shape, something that did not happened with my older shaver. Still I like it very much so far. Also the last shaver came with a bag, this one does not, but I have the old bag from the last one.

My 1st observation was how much slower the heads rotated than in my old shaver. Despite this, the shaver shaves OK. I noticed a bit more irritation after a shave, but nothing overwhelming. Battery life appears to be good. Lack of a carrying case is a definite downside. I travel often and the plastic shaver head protective cap does not stay on the shaver when I remove it from my luggage.
