It is integrated intto the factory infinity amp/speaker setup and sounds way better than before, much clearer and louder. Love the HDRadio, and the USB and front input jack. Main reason I boughht it was the Bluetooth connection for myy phone and it works beautifully. I love it. I bought this as a last year model as the 8500 was already out but I saved a lot of money. Looking at the 8500 tho' the 2 things i didn't know or consider that may have made me get the new model is the LCD design is a little bettter as the clock is hard to read on some of the backgrounds, its too small. And also the 8500 integrates the Pandora app for Iphone AND Android. The 8400 only has Iphone support. Not a big deal but would have been nice...

This deck includes all the features that my old stereo was lacking including an auxillary input, bluetooth and USB option. I am very pleased with quality, sound, all the adjustment features and the bluetooth handsfree sound quality.

Society can breathe a sigh of relief because now she will be less of a menace on the road. The installer, Patrick was a really cool guy who did a good job. We are absolutely happy with the install / set up.

Great for iPhones and iPods

Posted by: Xymox9 from Roseville, CA on 03/05/2013This CD deck is a great improvement over last year's model. It has full bluetooth audio streaming support for iPhone 5s whereas last year's did not. The phone feature is great and "just works" and HD radio is nice as well. Seems like this unit has all of the bells and whistles an audiophile would want in a deck. My only complaint is that sometimes it gets "confused" when switching back and forth between the USB connection and the Pandora app on my iphone. Normally it works just fine but sometimes it will start playing a Pandora song from the USB connection and/or the Pandora app won't be able to play anything and I'll have to "quit" the app on my phone and re-start it. However, if you normally set your input to one thing and leave it there for most of the time you won't have any issues, or if you aren't using Pandora then you won't have a problem. But all of the features work well and the sound quality is very good. I like the new interface and "look" of this model much more than last year's. A nice improvement and a great iPod/iPhone player. Also the Best Buy installer was AWESOME. Did a wonderful job and was very courteous. Thanks!
