These are amazing and I'm waiting for them to go on sale to get a 2nd pair. People complaining of lack of bass need a better receiver/amp. I have no complaints0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Good For Small Home Theater4

For the price, this speaker is well constructed and an excellent value. No, it will not give you great bass and must be used with a sub-woofer. Mid-range and highs sound great for a speaker its size and price. Looks good in any room.1 out of 3 found this review helpful.

Good little speaker for surround. Have not heard them as a stand alone, but I'm sure from what I've heard with the surround system they would surely hold thier own.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I bought a surround sound amp without speakers since I was going to use my high quality speakers for the main front speakers, but I didn't have any good back speakers. I had some cheap one ways so I hooked them up but they were tinny and couldn't handle the 100 watts per channel. I looked at what they had at BEST BUY and the Polks were in my price range and they sounded good. I took them home and hooked them up and what an improvement! All of the sound effects in high tech movies like Star Wars are fantastic! They look great and sound great. I am very please with my investment in these speakers.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Great set of speakers to use in a 5.1 setup!5

I purchased a pair of these to use as the right and left of a 5.1 system, paired them with a Samsung HW-D600, Infinity powered sub, JBL surrounds... All HDMI from DirecTv and Xbox 360 - The sound is awesome the entire time. Even at maximum volume it never distorts, and never looses it's subtle punch and clean mid and high range.
Don't expect booming bass from a bookshelf, everything is built for a purpose and while these deliver a clean and responsive mid and upper range, don't expect them alone to rumble your junk. Paired with a proper 5.1 or 7.1 system and a 300w Infinty Sub - the Polk's are the perfect fit.
Playing Call Of Duty MW3 is so great, you can hear every footstep with ease, and very realistic effect sounds come out of these as well.
1080p movies and action sequences also sounds great, and they fill the room (big room, 18x24) and the entire setup with my Samsung TV is like a theater in my house.
Get them, don't even consider the Poineer that is a little less, these are worth it in quality, looks, sound range and they are Polk audio.1 out of 3 found this review helpful.

These speakers put out extremely clear sound, but I was disappointed with the volume. They don't get as loud as I had hoped.0 out of 1 found this review helpful.

I bought a vintage Pioneer Sx-780 receiver for the bedroom and needed some bookshelf speakers. I chose the T-15s because of the Polk Audio reputation and the good reviews.
I was amazed at the sound clarity and power these little gems produce. Bass response is adequate and clear not muffled, while the highs and mids are crisp and clear. I was so impressed that I am going back to buy a second pair for my vintage Kenwood receiver in the den and putting away the monster JVC floor speakers. These baby's rock!3 out of 9 found this review helpful.

These things sound terrible. Way too much mid-range. Bass is muddy with no definition. The highs actually hurt my ears. I am puzzled by all the great reviews; but to each his/her own, I guess. Try the Pioneer bookshelf speakers for the same price - natural sounding, perfectly balanced with no ear fatigue. IMO.7 out of 12 found this review helpful.

I use these as a simple alternative to TV speakers which are typically garbage and they do the job.
Handsome style, admirably reproduces everything from highs to lows within reason.
I was set on a soundbar system initially, but they all just sounded too tiny for me (at least the budget systems). This set, paired with a receiver sounded much warmer and fuller.
Add a sub if you're looking for punchy bass.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

I've been a music lover all my life. I'm seriously happy with these. I tried 2 sets of the Insignia and took them back and got the Polks, what I should have done in the first place. I bought 2 sets for front and rear surround. Purchaced a Denon AVR-1912 receiver. I have a Polk sub-woofer PSW110. This combination sounds excellent.2 out of 4 found this review helpful.

Excellent Bookshelf Speakers for Office5

Picked up a pair of T-15's this afternoon, to replace an old pair of Bose 21 bookshelf speakers. The Polk sound is far superior - much sharper highs and clean bass. Am running these off a Mac desktop through a Heathkit AR-29 stereo receiver that I built 40 years ago. The Heathkit analog amps, along with clean digital signal from a Mac is outstanding. Highly recommended as highly accurate monitor speakers for video or sound editing, or just plain musical enjoyment. Steely Dan's "FM" just came on. Really clean with solid but not overpowering bass.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I bought these on sale to go in my shop/garage knowing Polk has decent bass even in their small speakers. Hooked up to an old AV receiver they sound great. They have a recess on the back to slide over a screw which made hanging them easy. I'm waiting for them to go on sale again so I can get a second pair.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

Bought these speakers to serve as remote auxillary front channel speakers to my home theater because they were on sale for just under $50. Reg. price almost $100 more, so great value on a great brand. They sound great and can handle as much volume as I can send into them.2 out of 3 found this review helpful.

Those speakers was a replacement upgrade to work with my new 5.1 receiver. At the price point sold, I was hesitate at first, but I was impressed by the sound quality of the speakers. The size was compact enough to fit in the same exact spot as the replaced shelf speakers, and they did not vibrate the built-in shelf when the volume was pumped louder than average. I would definitely purchase products from Polk Audio again and would recommend those speakers to others as well.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I have 2 pair of these (4 total). I use them as the rear and side speakers for my 7.1 theater. They sound really nice and they perform much better than a little satalite speaker. However they are bigger. good mids and highs, they look great,2 out of 2 found this review helpful.
