Great puzzle game

Posted by: from Duluth, MN on 04/19/2013This is a great game overall. The story is interesting, and the puzzles vary in difficulty. It also has daily DLC puzzles that add to the replay value. All of these thing far out weigh the few repetitive elements.

Professor Layton makes first stop on the 3DS
5
Posted by: from on 04/15/2013Professor Layton has always been a favorite on mine since the series started on the Nintendo DS. This entry continue the tradition of the great series. Fun to play through the game with excellent thought provoking puzzles interwoven in a cinematic detective/sleuth experience. If you haven't bought Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, get this game today!

Another Flawless Layton Game
5
Posted by: from on 04/14/2013As the first Professor Layton game on the 3DS, they developers did a fantastic job. The puzzles have maintained the same level of fun and creativeness as previous games. The only drawback is that the game is not long enough. It's true that there are extra puzzles to find and play but the story could have been longer.

Fun puzzle game!
5
Posted by: from PA on 04/13/2013If you are looking for a game you can quickly save and set down and pick up a week later, this is definitely one. The short puzzles go quick at times, and at others they'll really make you think. There are lots of things you can do in the game, train a rabbit, find coins, though none of it is required and I can say I got tired of doing the side things and stopped. There are also extra puzzles you can download and play outside of the game (one each day I believe). This is worth the money.

A Professor Layton Game
5
Posted by: from New York, NY on 03/15/2013This is another one of your Professor Layton games. Amazing storyline, amazing characters, and amazing puzzles. This is my second favorite storyline out of the five Professor Layton games that have been released in NA, right behind Unwound Future. The puzzles are still awesome -- 150 of them in total. However, everyday after its release, there have been daily puzzles, which can be downloaded using WiFi. That means there are an extra 365 fun puzzles after a year have passed since the release of the game! This game is well worth the money, but I do especially recommend this for those who play games casually since this is a game where you can sit back and relax. For those who have never played Professor Layton, it's basically a story game (lots and lots of reading, unless you simply don't care for the storyline) where you solve puzzles (there are a few demo puzzles on the Nintendo website if you're still unsure). The 3D feature on this game isn't very noticeable in my opinion, and I tend to play it in 2D or with the 3D feature at its minimum.

Great Puzzle Game too many cut scenes.
4
Posted by: from Hiawatha, Iowa on 02/22/2013I love the puzzles in this game and the puzzle a day downloads are an excellent addition to this game. However the cut scenes take as long as four to five minutes at times and seem to go on forever. IF you could skip them then this would be a much better game. But overall if you can ignore long story or if you are into the long story then you will enjoy this game.
