Posted by: from Minnesota on 01/01/2013I have loved Stabbing Westward since I was a little girl. I was super sad when the band ended and then when "The Dreaming" started I was alive again. Everything that this band does, no matter what their band name is, just devours me in happiness and comfort. I don't know how to explain it. But anyways....this album will not disappoint you. "The Dreaming" is one of the most original bands. The vocals and music are completely original, and the lyrics are EXTREMELY talented and paint stories of emotion. I can't express more of how amazing this album and the band are.

Stabbing Westward continues

Posted by: from on 04/05/2012Great album again, reminds me of stabbing westward songs and continues the music with high octane songs and great vocals as usual. Great songs to run with and get pumped up.

Excellent, as good as "Etched in Blood"

Posted by: from Howard Lake, MN on 11/02/2011Just bought this yesterday. All songs are great, even the remakes and remixes from the Pre-Op CD. The best songs are "Every Trace", "Too Late", "There Will be Blood", "Breathing". and "End in Tears". All songs are heavy (like Westward and "Etched In Blood"). A few songs have an "electronica" vibe but I think they're still good. Chris' vocals are always strong. Guitars and drums are powerful. Can't wait to hear this over my good headphones. I like the remakes off of the Pre-Op CD (Puppet, Stitches, Solo Crucifixion, Always and Never). Music and Lyrics have changed enough to make the old songs new again. (Thankx to Lou Brutus who played "Every Trace" on SiriusXM, that made my day).

Posted by: from Grand Rapids Mi on 10/13/2011If you like Stabbing Westward, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, Tool, NiN, and anything else in this Genre, you will LOVE The Dreaming, one of the very few bands that put on an awesome show every night! Lead Singer - Christopher Hall, formerly the Lead of Stabbing Westward has amazing vocals that make every song personable, you feel the song's as if they were your own. Drummer - Johnny Haro is electrifing, former drummer of Canadian rock group Econoline Crush, and also toured with Stabbing Westward Its No Good is a cover of a Depeche Mode classic. Amazing group also check out there first albumn "Etched in Blood"
