The auto-pairing mode was a great time-saver. It only took 5-10 minutes to set up the device. I had a digital converter box and a Blu-ray player of a different brand and it has full-functionality with each device - matching the original button-for-button.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Dont stress it is just a $10 remote. Battery clips are weak and do not hol battery very well. Progaming to make it work requires PhD in electronics or a 14 year old to figure out.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Bought this remote as an inexpensive replacement for a Directv universal remote that was not working well with a new soundbar. Setup was pretty straightforward and it controlled all of the devices properly the first time which was impressive.
The first problem though was that I could not turn on both the TV and DVR with one button press like the DTV remote could. I knew this going in but found out that was a required feature for my wife. The other issue, which happened to be the deal breaker for this remote is the backlight. It only lights up about 2/3 of the keys, and not in an understandable pattern (e.g. top half only) but in a weird way (some of the top, some of the middle, etc.). Trying to break in a new remote with different button locations is really hard when you can't see all of the buttons at times. I ended up taking back and spending $45 more on a Harmony remote which meets all of the criteria needed.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

After over a dozen attempts to program the remote, it still does not work. Even if it was a free Remote it would be 'to much' for the time and energy spend to program it, without success.1 out of 2 found this review helpful.
