Bought this after getting rid of cable and satellite just to get the networks. Reception is great and I get more chanels than I tought I would, 14 to be exact. Use this and Roku, who needs sattelite?0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Reception is worse than the old school rabbit ears1

I made the mistake of painting it before trying it. It's hard to get behind the TV and I didn't want to do it twice. So I painted it to match my walls and then installed it. I went from 5 channels with old school rabbit ear antenna, to 2 with this. I've moved it all over, closer to a window, up higher on the wall, down on a table. Nothing works, the reception is horrible AND it costs 3 times more than the rabbit ears! It's too bad I painted it because I wish I could return it. $30 down the drain. We bought this HDTV antenna for my wife's desktop PC to replace the Comcast digital converter box.
Pros:. The reception is quite good. The picture is clear; it is sharper in detail than that provided by the Comcast digital converter box. The antenna was very easy to install and setup was quick and hassle-free.
Cons: The number of available channels is limited, possibly to those with higher signal strength. The unit requires re-setup any time that it is moved.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I am tired of paying high cable bills so I wanted to get an antenna that could provide adequate reception for me to watch tv without cable. This product did not work sufficiently so I returned to the store. I did find a better product (actually an RCA, too, but of higher quality) and that has worked very well.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
