Nice, but some issues

Mostly the 'G' and 'C' keys so far. Was told this issue is common for this item. I'm still trying to return the current one, but having issues since it appears that Best Buy will no longer be carrying this brand.

Great for gaming and heavy handed users

Posted by: Ten13 from on 03/20/2013I bought this keyboard because I work and game off the same laptop, and since I can go a little crazy on the keyboard while gaming I figured it would be in my best interest to get a separate keyboard so I'm not hammering on the laptop.
This is my first "real" piece of gaming equipment and I'm am very impressed with the responsiveness of the board. You've probably heard this before, but it really does make a huge difference having an actual gaming keyboard versus using the laptop's, or even just a standard keyboard. I was a little "meh" about dropping so much money on a keyboard, but it was worth it. The backlit keys are perfect, you can set the brightness or just turn it off if it bothers you, but I am definitely a "dungeon" gamer and am always gaming in the dark so this was just another added bonus for me.
Bottom line, if you're like me and have been gaming on standard keyboards and mice forever, you really don't know what you're missing. You can be so much more competitive off responsiveness alone with this board. The only way you will know is to get it for yourself. Don't be afraid. Step into the light. Lol

So I went out looking for a new one to buy, and found this one. This keyboard is kind of pricy, and in my opinion I think it is worth it. I play some games on my computer and this keyboard helps me out with its programmable keys and the easy to use Synapse 2.0 software. Bottom line is that anyone who is debating whether or not to buy this should definitely get it.

LIKES
*I love the tactile feel of typing on it.
*Programable keys are nice.
*Can dim or brighten the backlight to satisfaction.
*Some people mention the font as a dislike, but I like it. All letters and numbers are clear, just different.
*Already had Razer Synapse 2.0 installed, so was plug and play.
*10 key anti-ghosting.
DISLIKES
*It does make a bit of noise while typing(80db), but I usually don't notice it, and when I do it doesn't bother me.
*Would've liked the light to change colors.

The on the go macro function is amazing with the precision of it being a mechanical keyboard. The price might seem a little high but for the quality it is definitely the best keyboard on the market.
