I followed the instructions exactly over and over again. I really wanted this thing to work, but it just didn't. Waste of time and money. I returned it to the store for a refund. Thumbs Down this time. However, Thumbs up to Best Buy for a no-hassle return.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Before I found this, I was going to have to run cable to my ceiling projector, using time I really did not have. This solution provided closure to a problem I've had for years, and I can finally remove it from my bucket list!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Controls AV receiver located behind the wall.4

I was prepared to spend more to get a solution to control my AV/surround sound receiver located on the other side of the wall. So, pretty good solution for the money spent in my mind. Only had this installed for about a month and had one experience where it did not work. Not sure what the issue was but powered down both the transmitter and receiver and it bounced back okay. Overall, this unit does what I want it to do.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Set up the transmitter next to my tv. Set up my receiver in the cabinet and used the three wired infrared cables on my three av devices that are in the cabinet. I have a uverse box, Yamaha receiver and a blue ray player. Reliability of the remotes is improved.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Works well5

This 120 volt AC product repeats, via a wireless link, whatever infra red pulses it receives. The receiving unit, in another room, maybe, outputs infra red pulses. Neither unit uses batteries. A 2 meter cable with 3 infra red diodes can be stuck on the units to be controlled if the receiver it self cannot be positioned facing the units to be controlled.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Not worth the money1

We struggled with placing the receiver in different locations but regardless of where we placed it, the only successful signal that can be pushed requires you to be no more than 2 feet away from and you must be in front of the receiver. That's not convenient or practical. Got this unit for our bedroom. I have to crawl across my sleeping husband with my remote and change the channel by aiming the controller at his nightstand. Would work better if I could place the receiver on his head or his pillow but that's not likely to happen. It's too late to get my money back but they were only $40 so it was a few dollars wasted. I would not recommend this product.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
