Great show even if you aren't a hardcore Halo fan

Posted by: from Farmington, NM on 10/10/2012I've watched Red vs Blue for about 10 years now, and have always enjoyed the humor and writing. I have played Halo and watched friends play it during the LAN party days (pre-XBOX live), so I know a bit about the video game series, but you don't need to know the mythos to enjoy the show. There is profanity used, in copious amounts, so sensitive ears would be best to stay away. The writing is smooth, the characters are well developed, the storyline becomes increasingly complex. All around well thought-out and intricate.

If you love Red vs Blue than this is a must buy! Pros: - Cheap - RvB originals with remastered graphics and sound. - Contains numerous extras such as: Outakes, PSA's, and Commentary! Cons: - NOTHING, Don't pass this up!

Even call of duty fans should have this! and if they don't buy it, I will devour their hearts and c*** out their souls! They will all taste oblivion! which tastes just like red bull, which is disgusting! ; )

Posted by: from Hawaii on 10/22/2010I have been a fan of Red v Blue for years so when I found out a remastered version of the series was avialable, I jumped on it! It's filled with non-stop side splitting laughs and the bloopers are even better. I wouldn't recomend this for little kids because it does use a lot of "bad words" not suitable for little ears. Overall, this dvd set is a must have for anyone looking for a good laugh!

Posted by: from on 07/18/2010this set contains this all five seasons of red vs. blue plus a bonus disc. this set contains 6-discs one disc per season and seasons 1-4 are remastered with halo and halo 2 on the PC. Also a note to parents if you let you kids play halo this show should be view by kids ages 17 and +

Posted by: from Doylestown, PA on 06/30/2010The new remastered episodes are just as good as the original. They look great and the shots are almost identical. In fact, the only way you can tell the difference is when they point out something in the old commentary when placed over the new video. If you've seen the series then you know how funny the plot is and watching it in a feature movie type style makes everything flow much better. The extras alone are worth the price of the set. You get all the old PSA's, outtakes, line readings, deleted scenes, and great commentary. The only real issue I've had is that the season 3 commentary completely removes the audio from the scenes but it was easily fixed by playing it on two media players and adjusting the sound. All in all its a great purchase and any RVB fan has to have the full set.
