One time movie

Posted by: from San Francisco, CA on 01/18/2009For the first time since "Heat" Pacino and De Niro pair up in a movie and all we could get is a rather mediocre cop drama about two good old cops one of which goes vigelante on the bad guys. Rather simple and not so interesting plot, there was only one moment that actually deserve a note - which one of them is actually the killer. There is really nothing special about this movie, a real waste of good actors. They probably took the roles just to hang out with each onther on the set. Nowhere near "Heat"

Worth a rental

Posted by: from mankato, MN on 01/16/2009I didn't even bother with the DVD extras, so I don't know what's there, but the movie didn't really impress me. With two such high caliber actors, I expected more, but the plot was thin and I saw the ending from a mile away.

Not that impressed !

Posted by: from Joliet, IL. on 01/10/2009I was hoping for a little bit better story line and plot. Deniro, and Pacino looked great for two veteran aging actors. To me it just wasn't one of their block buster action packed movies that I am used to seeing. Also I experienced a slight freeze in one of the scenes. I wouldn't call this a $ 20.00 movie. Not bad, but not the best considering these two fine actors.
