NOT compatible with Samsung 11 pin2

I bought this cable to use it with my Samsung Galaxy S3, but after trying it several times with different monitors and TVs (MHL compatible), didn't work. The GS3 is a 11pin conector, this one is 5 pin...
I couldn't test with other brands, but I'm sure it should work fine with regular 5 pin MHL (micro USB connector) smartphones, just no luck with Samsung. I also find it expensive, although build quality feels solid.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

It does NOT work for Samsung Galaxy SIII! I should have done more research before purchasing this item. I did some research online and it looks like you have to buy the samsung MHL to hdmi adapter in order for it to work (pin configuration is off)1 out of 6 found this review helpful.
