Quick and easy to set-up and comes with a power source. The iPhone/iPad/IPod needs to be within 6 feet distance to work constantly. If you walk in the path of the stream, move the iPod/iPhone/IPad or use it, the stream will be interrupted which is very annoying. Anything beyond 6', forget about it. Find a better blue tooth music receiver. I bought this because it was recommended by the salesman.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Horrible and not recommended due to short range and poor sound transmission. Harmon Kardon product is superior and same price.0 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Wow. This product was so easy to set up: took about 5 minutes. Turned on the Bluetooth on my iPod and had music playing through my Denon receiver!! Ran over to my iMac and paired with the Music Receiver and now I'm playing music from my computer through my home theater system. Awesome. Haven't heard any dropouts or static as others have complained. The sound on my devices is turned all the way up and there's no problem. LOVE THIS.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

i've been wanting a device like this so that i can stream Pandora from my PC or smartphone to my home stereo system. i was a little disappointed that there was only one option in the entire Best Buy, but i went ahead and paid more than i wanted to for this receiver. setup process could not have been easier for both my phone and PC.
however, after one day of use i returned this item. the connection was always very poor. sound quality was terrible. the music would play for a few seconds, and then go silent. or, rather than silence, the device produced static-like noise bursts. at first i thought it was a reception issue, but the PC was only about 12 feet away from the receiver, with direct line of sight. the same issues occurred when streaming from my phone, even at extremely close range.
maybe it was just a bad unit, but as i was already unhappy about the higher-than-expected price, i didn't want to give another one a try. my current solution is the use of an old smartphone as a stand-alone Pandora player, wired directly into one of my home stereo's inputs. since this device is no longer a cell phone, but still works fine over WiFi, i feel happy to put it back to work while eliminating the need for a Bluetooth receiver.0 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Best purchase I've ever made!5

OMG. I recently purchased a 7.1 receiver which is awesome by itself. It's a Sony STR-DH520. I wanted to get my Pandora from my Blackberry and also my own music on my phone to go through my home stereo system and the Store manager suggested this. OMG It's out of this world! I had it up and running in under 5 minutes once I figured out to enable the bluetooth headset option on my smart phone. I have a wireless network at home as well, so when that's enabled I can still use my smartphone as usual as if I wasn't using Pandora at the same time. Plus the home wifi keeps you from using your data plan on your phone.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

For the price, this was a great purchase. Makes it very easy to listen to music on my phone or laptop without needing to be connected to wires. I've had no trouble with the range as other reviews have mentioned. Getting it set up and connected to multiple devices is very easy! Definitely recommend!1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

All in all this is a great product that I would buy again.
I use it to receive 32bit spotify from my laptop accross the room to my integrated tube stereo driving B&W 684's and the quality of audio will make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. No it's not as good a high quality cable driven by a high end source but for what it is it's a top notch add on to any system.
Just gotta play with placement for best reception...33ft range is probably laboratory. more like 10 ft. for no drop outs.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

I used this system in my home with a receiver and multy room speakers. Effectively it works aprox 30 foot. Many people moving in an entertaining or party environment may result in occaisional sound loss, overall good system for the money - highly advise1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

My wife loves the Rocketfish reciever,She can listen to Pandor or Sirius thru our Bose system from her I-Phone.The only problem is her phone has to be in the same room as the reciever. The nice part is if she's in another room and listening to music , the music stops when her phone rings.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
