Works great in conjunction with the Net-Gear WiFi router extender I purchased. Both are giving me a better connection to the internet.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Although I have decent DSL speed at home, I found that the wireless Wii U connection was not as fast as I had hoped. This device, connected to my wired network, showed a significant performance improvement.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Slower than wireless ?!2

I got this to speed up my Wii's internet speed. To my surprise the usb-ethernet adapter gave me slower download and upload speeds than using wireless!
My wireless:
2.3mbps download
0.26 upload.
With the ethernet adapter (wired)
2mbps download
0.16 upload
Checked using the internet channel at speedtest.net.
This could easily be the Wii, not this adapter. If you are buying this because your wireless is spotty I think it's a good value. Just don't expect your Wii's internet to be very fast...0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

We were having problems getting Netflix to load across the wireless, so we tried a direct wire network. It didn't seem to solve the problem, but it works fine. The only problem is that the cord is so short that using it with a vertically mounted Wii, the box dangles unsupported. Had to twist the cable around so that the usage light can be seen from the front.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

A Perfect Solution for spotty wireless5

So I bought this because my Wii U was getting spotty and slow wireless signal because of the proximity to my wireless router. After a 3 minute "install" I was up and running. I had to go into my Wii U settings and change the network type to wired, and I was online. That was it. Nothing to it. Now whenever I download games, browse the internet, or Miiverse, everything is really quick. Netflix loads a movie within 3 seconds, instead of about 10, when it was wireless. A big thank you goes out to Rocketfish. I am now a big fan of their products, moreso than Monster. Highly recommended for Wii and Wii U.5 out of 5 found this review helpful.

The wireless system on the Wii was a pain to work with. It worked half the time and needed to "load" all the time. The Rocketfish installed in about 3 minutes and did not give me any problems at all. It works and works well.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
