It works for the intended purpose, but I still think TV mounts are overpriced in general. That being said, though, I wouldn't have used anything of lesser quality.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I used this for a tv that's actually 42" instead of 40. It was easy to attach to the tv & then mount the tv to the wall. It's very simple, and works just like it should for a flat screen tv. you can only tilt the tv up or down, but can't turn it at all, which was what I wanted.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Overall, a good deal for the price and easy enough to mount on the wall. Just make sure you find/use the studs when mounting on wood. Very solid mount, nicely built. Just make the directions simpler, especially with figuring our which bolt size group to use. Overall, great bargain, high quality, very good mount. Save your self some money.
