Average buy for the money3

This unit is intended for a A/V home theater system. The wires and connections it comes with will not work with a computer 5.1 system without further modification. Hooking the system up was simple and straight forward. If the technicians would change he transceiver frequency from a less common frequency to one that is less used then my rating would be just below excellent for the money.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I set up the Rocketfish wireless kit in the living room with the speakers in the dining room. It was within the maximum recommended distance but the sound in the dining room was on and off. I purchased a JBL Wireless kit and that unit is working great.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Speaker wires are a bit difficult to lock into fasteners, but once there, the product does what it's supposed to.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

When you purchase a wireless item there is always a concern about the product performing as advertised. Definitely no buyers remorse with this purchase.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I may have too much other wireless stuff running, but my rear speakers were scratchy and there was a lot of interference.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

This product was very easy to set up. I did not want to drill holes in my floor to run the wires under my house or have them exposed so my 5 year old would disturb them. There are wires that run from the unit to the speakers but they are easy to conceal behind the couch.
There is an independent volume knob on the receiver that allows you to customize the rear speakers. I needed to turn up up 3/4 of the way to get a good balance from the front. I thought this was a great feature.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

We have an 18 month old and rent, and so I needed something that could reduce the amount of cable i needed, and would help keep it out of the way. This was the answer I needed. The power cord is hidden behind a book case, and the rear unit sits on top of the book case. The rear speakers are wall mounted and the cables are run to it along the back wall, with everything well well out of reach.
We do get an occasional speaker pop, I'm not quite sure what causes it, but in the end it really really doesn't bother me. I'd be happier if it didn't happen, but am glad to have a system that is clean and well out of reach.
I'd recommend it for anyone who doesn't want long rear speaker wires, that can't afford some of the more expensive systems that do the same. Great price for what it does. I've recommended it to all my friends with children and medium to large living rooms.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Was skeptical due to some of the reviews citing DOA, poor sound, popping noises etc. but couldn't resist the $69 sale price @ BB. Very happy I bought it.
It's fed by an older Panasonic 6.1 channel receiver and feeds two Bose speakers from an Acoustamass set. I chose to not connect the sub woofer from the set as not much bass emminates from the surround channels,
Setup took just a few minutes, only hard part was getting behind the TV stand to connect the wireless xmtr to the receiver which is at floor level.. Once connected to speakers and receiver I powered it up and it immediately connected and I had a room full of surround sound. I turn it off when not being used and it reconnects immediately every time I turn it back on.
Have had no interference problem with any of my other 2.4 ghz devices which include a wireless phone system, wireless router, wireless security system and 7 other WIFI devices. Also no popping noises at any level regardless of how volume control on the AV receiver or the Rocketfish receiver are set. There seems to be more than enough power out from the Rocketfish to drive the surround speakers at levels higher than you would normally use for surround speakers. Pandora and surround enabled video from Amazon, Netflix and Blu-Ray is amazing. Of course Bose has a lot to do with that but the garbage in-garbage out rule still applies.
I've only had it for 2 days now so can't speak to longevity but have had very good experience with other Rocketfish WIFI and Blutooth devices. Now I'm looking for a single channelwireless kit to connect the rear speaker to utilize the complete the Panasonic's 6.1 capability.
It's worth noting that 100' of 16awg speaker wire runs about $60 and then you have to hide the wires etc.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

For the price and what this product does is well worth it. It makes your room look clean without all the bulkiness of the wires. I can't complain about this product at all. I recommend this to anyone and everyone with a surround sound system.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

If a dummy like me can wire this thing up, anyone can. The instructions are clear and simple. And the sound! It's a great buy all around.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
