Simple solution to ceiling speakers

Posted by: Tever from Chicago on 05/17/2013I'm sure it has other great uses, but the Geek Squad used it to incorporate my living room ceiling speakers into my surround sound as the rears. The unit is sitting in a bookshelf in front of the wiring panel. Everything is great, no lag, sounds amazing. The only drawback, and it's a small one, is that it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing component in the room, but it definitely beat paying for additional rear speakers and running more wires.

I got it all set up and it never worked. Also if you do get it to work you still have wires coming from the back port to the speakers. So even though you get rid of the wires from front to back, you still have the wires that go out to the speakers.
