Had another box previously that was another brand that was terrible. This box is so easy to set up and even withou an HD TV it gives a greast picture. It is also very user friendly and so easy to navigate. This is actually the third one just like this that I have purchased. I now have one on each of my televisions.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Purchased this unit for an older TV. Quick and easy setup. Roku does require a credit card for activation of the box. For the price and feature set the box is great.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Geeks did not show me how to use it. I cannot turn it on. Therefore, I cannot rate it. Tech for ROKU is in India. After following their instructions to turn it on for ONE HOUR< I hung up. They had no clue !! The manual that came with thr Roku does not inform you as to how to run it.!! I am disgusted w/ this. Called BEST BUY & GEEKS> They did not know how to help me via. phone. After 2 hours, I gave up !!1 out of 10 found this review helpful.

I saw a few reviews that seemed mixed, some of which were related to set-up. I was a little comcerned about that, but found everything was fairly intuitive, and there were no snags. I agree that it may have been nice to know in advance that you need to create a (free) account to use it, and provide a card to charge for ordering any pay content. I don't know that it would have had any influence on my decision to purchase it though. The only complaint I have so far is that you can't stream YouTube on it, but of course, I knew that going in...5 out of 6 found this review helpful.

Great streaming device. Very easy to setup Has all major video apps including Netflix, amazon and a lot more. You can download a mobile app in which you can use as a remote which is pretty cool and better than the the actual remote2 out of 2 found this review helpful.
