But after 15 months, I got the "SE" (system error) on the display, and no amount of power resets #Samsung's only solution# would fix it. Google this brand microwave, and you will see many of the same experiences. The electronic keypad may last through the 12 month warranty, but shortly thereafter, there are frequent problems. For a $75-90 service call and a new $200 keypad, you've basically replaced your $300 Samsung microwave in less than 2 years. I had thought Samsung was a safe brand but am steering clear of all things Samsung in the future. Good luck.

I would recommend this product to anyone. Thanks . the only issue if any is that the it fingerprints quickly but that my be my fualt as my hand are dirty when I open the microwave door. anyway, it also easy to clean so therefore no issues.

This one took different brackets, but was overall pretty easy to install. I like to sleek look, adds light to the kitchen. It is quieter than other microwaves and seems to work great. Just installed this morning, but am sure it will do just fine. Did loads of research before purchasing this unit. I am sure the time will be worth it. I like that I can change the sounds to a preference of my own, not just the factory presets.

    Died one year after buying

Just spent an hour and 1/2 trying to get someone who freaking cares on the phone with NO success. UGH! If you buy this - buy the extended warranty - it will be worth it.

Samsung came to repair it which was a horrible experience on its own, their customer service is horrible, and the first time they came they replaced the wrong part all together because of a miscommunication. Anyways, the microwave just completely died and stopped working after only 13 months. The more I researched a potential solution, the more I discovered how common a problem this was with these microwaves and that they were dying in 2 years or less! Wish I had done more research prior to buying it! Save your money and don't buy this one - do some research and see for yourself!

We like most everything, except find the control panel a bit hard to read (over 70). Some of the controls are a bit confusing too. But,we keep the manual handy and things are working out well.

    Great vent fan but laughable light

The keypad configuration is not terribly intuitive but you get used to it within a week. The vent fan is amazing. It really pulls a significant amount of heat/smoke/smell from the cook top. The light however is very strange. It is so dim that you may find yourself needing to use a flashlight when cooking. I have researched a light bulb upgrade but none is available. If I had noticed this ahead of time I would have chosen a different model. There really is no way around a stove top light that is way too dim.

When installing the microwave we noticed it did not include a side bracket that would help keep the microwave more secure. I was fortunate that my old microwave already had this bracket.
