There aren't enough hdmi slots to run everything thru the subwoofer and it also has to sit next to the Tv and the electrical outlet. I also have a Polk Audio soundbar. I can put the subwoofer anywhere within 50 feet.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

compelling cosmetics, awful audio1

I bought this and used it for two weeks with me new Samsung HDTV. I returned it today, and glad to be rid of it.
I used the sound bar in split mode, with the two halves mounted on their stands, and separated 10 feet. The sound of this contraption is mediocre at best, due to the sound bar's distinct lack of high frequencies. This fancy system merely added some low end, and to hear more high end, I had to also use my TV's built-in "inferior" speakers... which sound BETTER than the sound bar!
Another complaint is the absolutely useless built-in EQ presets. "Sports" mode merely introduces a reverb effect, "news" mode greatly reduces the bass, and "game", "drama", and "music" are nearly indistinguishable. Also the "3D" effect is utterly useless. I tried all of these settings with the sound bar speakers standing upright, split 10 feet, placed in various locations in the room. Again, the use of my "inferior" TV speakers was required to improve the high-end clarity.
Save you $400 and look at something else. Maybe the next version will be worth the money.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Never used speakers before so we have nothing to compare to. Yes the soundbar produces better sound over the sound of the TV alone, but at times speaking portions of some shows sounds muffled and can't be understood. Bought this unit on Black Friday to pair with my Samsung LED TV. Since our set is mounted above the fireplace, we were looking for something without a bunch of wires and slim enough to sit on the mantle. Note that it is not completely wireless. The soundbar need a power connection, and the subwoofer/bass unit needs to connect back to the video source or TV. But, otherwise, it is simple to connect. The sound is not "blow you away sound" but it is decent for a family room setting. If you are expecting deep bass and good surround sound quality, I would look at other units. If you are just looking to enhance an everyday flat panel TV, this one does the job.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

One of my few bad experiences with Best Buy, or should I say, an employee of Best Buy. He assured me that this item would work and fit with my TV and it didn't. Wasn't even close. Had to totally unbox and put together to find out that it wouldn't fit. Had to trek back to BB to return and like I said earlier, the only thing pleasant about the experience was the ease in returning it.0 out of 2 found this review helpful.

For the price & the performance you can not beat it. Simple and easy to use. This will not replace your high power full performance stereo system. However it gives you a nice full sound with the flex ability of location. If your looking to give your regular flat screen some extra kick this would be it. Great performance for the size and very easy to set up with Samsung flat screens.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
