Bought this sound bar due to limited space for a sound system. Product quality and sound quality is awesome! Definitely an upgrade to Samsung tv speakers. To clarify for those complaining of the "wireless" subwoofer, the term is used to describe the fact that the subwoofer sends the signal to the soundbar without the use of wires! Many products require a transmitter to do this! (they can be expensive) The subwoofer is in fact wireless because it has the capability to transmit the wireless signal to the soundbar!! Literally 4 wires for complete setup (5 if speaker is split)...anyone remember running wires for days with old surround sound systems? Overall no complaints and really a great buy for the price!!!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I got this because my TV doesn't have great sound. So I figured I get this system and I also use it to play music from my phone. Sound is good. Better for movies than music, but still ok. Bluetooth though not too great. I have to keep my phone very close to the device other wise it will disconnect. I guess for the price I could say it alright, maybe you can do better just search a little more. I didn't search much but I'm sure for that money you can do better. If you planing on using the bluetooth a lot then reconsider it. Unless your device has bluetooth then you can't use this home theater wirelessly. You need to connect the TV to it, and the speakers have a wire from one to the other. Make sure you understand what you are getting. Power goes to subwoofer and the speakers. I don't know what exactly I was expecting when I saw wireless, but maybe it's just about the bluetooth connection they are talking about.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I'm not sure why Samsung felt necessary to use the term wireless to describe this system, it's more than a bit misleading. It is true that when used as a one piece bar speaker, there is a wireless connection between the speaker and sub-woofer. BUT, you will have a power cable from both the sub and speaker, either a HDMI or digital audio cable from the sub-woofer, and if you want the speakers to be separated as floor standing or wall mounted, then you must run a speaker wire between both speakers.
We were able to get an open box item at a reduced price, which is what sold me on the system. I think that the normal sales price is a bit much for a speaker system that is almost necessary due to the TV's insufficient speakers that are standard today.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Once you figure out the set up the system sounds good. My only problem is i thought having a Samsung smart tv would make this system easier to connect. I was also trying to connect the sw using an hdmi cable and after contacting samsung they informed me my "smart" tv did not an hdmi (arc) port so i had to use the digital optical cable instead. I was a little disappointed by that but overall it sounds pretty good.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
