Super roomy and easy to reach everything

My favorite feature is the quick hide shelf. half of the shelf collapses back so you have room for bigger things. Full sized pitcher of tea fits beautifully. I love being able to keep two milk jugs in the door.

Great but loud

Posted by: VAEngineer from Virginia on 05/22/2012First of all the design, layout, exterior, and interior are very nice. Wife loves the lower freezer. LED lights are a cool feature when the kitchen is dark. However, this is one noisy fridge. It worked fine for the first 2 weeks. Then it progressively got louder. As a mechanical engineer I know that the compressor is the issue. I contacted Samsung for the specifications on the compressor. Samsung's response was that the compressor has a 46 dB sound pressure level. This is equivalent to a loud or lower end refrigerator. Not what you'd expect from a samsung product. I've found higher end refrigerators should have dB levels of 35-40. I tried to get this resolved with Samsung's repair center but the response was, "All fridges sound like this. This is typical." If I had the opportunity I'd return for a similar product from a different manufacturer. Save yourself the headache and look at a different brand.

Big refrigerator, Lots of room,quiet !!

Love this fridge!

Posted by: Reviewer321 from on 01/13/2012Perfect fridge for a family with kids! We love it! Lots of space and room to organize everything. It cooled off very quickly once delivered and maintains a constant temperature. The digital controls are nice. We have sufficient space for everything with a lot of room to spare. The door compartments are perfect for milk, juice, and soda. The freezer is laid out nice, but would never hold all of our freezed goods. We have an upright freezer though, so it is not a concern. It is really quiet! We never notice it running. The door alarm is a nice feature with kids. It is a little annoying when leaving doors open to put groceries away, but goes off after ten seconds or so. We have not hooked up the ice maker, so I can't speak for that. I had my eye on the price for about four months before purchasing it, as it goes up and down often. We purchased it for about thirty percent less than the listed retail price around Thanksgiving, and will receive a little bit more back using the price match guarantee when it dropped lower after Christmas. The delivery men said to wipe the whole fridge down with antibacterial products since it comes from Korea and is shipped on a boat. Never heard that before, but it's good to know. It was easy to remove all the shelving and drawers to wash. If you are looking for a fridge with lots of space and don't need the water dispenser, this is perfect! 5 stars! Only negative - no egg holder. Also, butter compartment does not open and close smoothly. The door gets stuck. A technician is coming to fix it or replace that part. No problems calling customer service. They were very quick to send someone here to fix it.

Very Satisfied

It has been a great insestment so far and I am completely satisfied. However I waited a long time before I purchased this because it would go on sale then off sale. I waited long enough and saved about 400.00....

Excellent Refrigerator

Great fridge for a great price

Posted by: Thecakerator from Lapeer, MI on 01/12/2011We have had this fridge for just about three months. The first fridge we received had scratches and dents all over the doors. They replaced it with a brand new fridge. The shelves hold a ton of food and the freezer can be packed more then you would ever imagine. The LED lighting looks really sharp. As far as quietness goes, sometimes it sounds like a diesel far away is idling. Just a soft hum which is unusual since our older GE fridge never made any noises. Not anything irritating, but I believe it could be quieter. The one downfall to this fridge is the ultra smooth white finish. I feel like the doors mark up really easily compared to the older fridges, with the wrinkle texture. Overall, very pleased with the quality.

Great refrigerator

The refrgerator runs quietly, in fact you can barely hear it, the LED lights are cool and what's most important is that we have a tremendous amount of storage speace! We love Samasung products, 3 printers, a Blue-Ray player and a washing machine, we are sold on Samsung!

Love this Fridge, better than expected

Posted by: Athomedad from Minneapolis on 12/11/2010We have had this fridge for about 3 weeks now and just love it. From the size to the arrangement of the shelves, to the capacity of the freezer. The freezer was really a surprise at how big it really was. We had a party to go to the other day, and it was already full of food from our other fridge, but we were still able to put a 20lb bag of ice in there as well. The lighting on the inside is great, even in the freezer. There is virtually no noise when it runs. The doors hold more than you would imagine. One shelf on the inside door can hold a 12 pack of pop. the sliding shelf in the fridge is great so you can accomodate different sizes as needed. There is also a convienent wine bottle holder that is off to the side. Delivery was smooth and the gentleman who helped were great and very careful getting it in the house. I would recommend this fridge to anyone who is looking for a great price on a larger fridge, without sacraficing all the bells and whistles. I think you get all the bells and whistles.
