The next step up is the 7100 Series, but the glossy screen compared to this model's matte screen turned me off. Plus, I frequently read that the human eye cannot tell the difference between 240hz vs. 120hz, so why pay extra. I've adjusted the screen to a point that I don't think any TV could look any better; it has amazing clarity with no judder. I will not buy any other brand, I am a diehard Samsung fan.

    Posted by: from on 02/17/2013I chose this model specifically because when looking at the pictures online i noticed it had a silver/chrome border frame all the way around the tv. Upon recieving the tv and taking it home found out it was silver only on the outside of the frame but black border visible on front of tv. I was so upset because the reason i dpent More money on this tv was because i was excited by how it looked online with pictures of an all silver border. Not only that, but the smart part with apps and internet is dissapointing and does not work. Youtube only plays 1 in 40 videos, movies on netflix are blurry and not clear picture. Tv picture quality is not all that compared to my old samsung 55' older model. The 3d is ok...but mow i'm just greatly dissapointed that i will habe to go through the trouble of returning it and just saving mote money for another tv without smart/3d features.

I plan to get a bigger screen TV and give this one to the kids. The sound is not very good, but when I really need to hear the sound, I turn on my surround sound and that fixes the problem. So surround sound system is a must.
