    Posted by: from San Antonio, TX on 05/17/2013I was able to purchase the floor model of this Samsung tv from my local best buy, as they were preparing to receive the newer 8000 model in May. So I got the TV for considerably cheaper than the retail price and it is a pretty amazing looking tv. I upgraded from 46" Samsung 6500 and the difference in picture is stunning. Super crisp picture, very bright colors, and good blacks. Obviously this isn't going to compare to a plasma in terms of blacks but it's worlds ahead of my old Samsung. There is some very slight light bleed at the edge of the screen but in most cases it's unnoticeable. I can't speak to the 3D performance as mine didn't come with 3D glasses. The extra "smart" content is a nice-to-have but I only use it sparingly. For what I paid for it, it was definitely worth it but with the newer models coming out I definitely wouldn't pay full price for this either.

    Posted by: from Colorado springs on 05/12/2013i have the 65" samsung tv and the picture is beautiful! the camera feature is cool but i dont use it bc its a pain that you need to register just to use Skype. the voice sensor is cool too. the motion sensor problem was just addressed but i think i need to call geeksquad to come out again :(
