Worth waiting for

Every time we went to buy one we could not find one that was comparable. I wanted a dependable brand and comparable specs. Well this delivers! It's significantly cheaper as well as being lightweight and easy to use. I've owned this for a month and have not had any complaints. I've primarily used it for recipes in my kitchen. It has been SUCH a space saver!
This will not replace your home computer but it will keep you from needing it as often.

But I do like the screen quality and I'm sure as I get better I will like this more. But right now, it's challenging. (My first tablet but I have had several android smart phones.)

This android will have you give up your windows, mac, linux desktops.
The screen quality is great. The stylus makes typing super fast no matter how big your fingers are.
For those of us who need reading glasses and just couldn't see yourself using the tiny screen of a smartphone, take the path of a quality tablet like this and enjoy being free and 'with it'!

Sleek like an ipad

Posted by: noipad4me from san luis obispo county on 05/11/2013Initially thought I wanted an ipad, but since we are android and pc user's, thought that would be a silly thing to do since main reason for ipad was for face time and some pilot apps, which I can get plenty of in android. . Besides, if you ask a few different best buy employees, they seem to recommend the samsung over ipad. We also have a toshiba thrive tablet, but it's not as sleek since it has the added full-size ports.

Posted by: jomanti from southbeach on 05/10/2013I had a Kindle Fire HD 8.9 before but then once I started reading reviews on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 decided to get one and was absolutely blown away by how fantastic this device is. The visuals are sharp, it has never frozen or crashed, and it is really fast both the apps and the internet. Everyday I find a new app or a new function on the device that is amazing. I am very happy with my 10.1 and am in process of finding a buyer for the Kindle Fire.

So I did my research on Tablets when it came time for me to buy one and found that Samsung had the best Consumer Report rating with the features that I wanted. So I bought one and love it as much as my smartphone!
They only down side is that it does not support Adobe Flash Player. That's a negative when a lot of the videos on the internet require Adobe Flash Player. This is one point that I missed when doing my research. But, the iPad dosen't support Adobe Flash Player either...so!
The speakers sound good but the volume could have a little more power.
