Fantastic phone, even at the $200 I paid shortly after it came out. I upgraded from an Atrix 4G that had -awful- battery life, so a more powerful device with twice the battery life was refreshing. It's snappy and quick, though there are occasionally crashes of the UI (the Gallery, too).
All in all, a great purchase. Though, it might be worth it to hold out until the S4 comes around.- Age : 18-24

Of course this phone is now outdated with the S4 but I still love the phone. Its light, convenient, can do pretty much everything. And its very sleek. I highly recommend it.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

So glad I spent the $$ to upgrade from an older Android. The size is just right and the phone performs well in nearly every category. Unless you are a power user, or aspiring smart phone photographer, no need to upgrade to S4. This phone will easily remain a high-end, high-performing option for another 12+ months,- Age : 25-34

Much better than the iPhone4

After going from an iPhone to the Galaxy S3 I have no regrets whatsoever. I like this phone alot especially the Android OS. The screen is beautiful and the expanded memory is awesome. I only have a few complaints, first the battery life is below average IMO. Second the camera takes way too long to focus and the pictures come out blurry half the time. And third the size of the phone is just a bit too big. Other than that this is a solid phone.- Age : 35-44

I've had this phone for about 2 weeks now and I'm still impressed. The speed that this phone has is phenomenal due to the quad core processor. Installing basic applications takes less than a second and larger applications like the RPG video game I have took about 3 seconds. Multi-tasking isn't an issue on this phone. 99% of the time I use the phone for music (mp3, tinyshark, google music, pandora, ect.). I can check my mail, have google navigation running, my music jamming and have no sign of lag or delay on the phone.
The phone is very light and thin. Their is a large difference in the feel and weight of the S3 compared to my HD2 and iPhone 4s; but weight doesn't mean build quality. I'm very certain that if you drop an S3 and iPhone its going to get damaged if you don't equip it with a good case. The only thing is that your toe won't hurt that much with the S3 (in the event you drop it and try to save it with your improvised soccer skills).
You do not get LTE with this international phone. However you can get 4G HSDPA+ 21Mbps. This is a quad band (850/900/1900/2100 MHz) 4G/3G/2G/GPRS phone. 4G/3G is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH T-Mobile!!! T-mobile USA needs 1700 MHz for data; so your stuck with Dinosaur 2G data speed. Your left with AT&T or a prepaid that uses AT&T cell towers if you want 4G/3G data.
Screen: Awesome
Loud Speaker: Average.
Wifi: Works
Bluetooth: Works
Battery Life: 12+ hours with constant use.
Camera: Fast and good
Price: Expensive (Price Mach if you can)80 out of 88 found this review helpful.

Samsung does it again4

I'm not going to write a crazy long review. I use to have the Samsung Galaxy S II (Epic 4G Touch). As soon as I got the GSIII in my hand, I immediately noticed the difference. Screen quality was better, snappier, overall look was better.
Battery life is pretty good. I can go 14 or so hours with up to 3 hours of screen on time. LTE 8hrs a day and wifi whenever i'm at home.
Screen isn't that great outdoors. The One X performs better in that regards. Otherwise when indoors or not under direct sunlight it's great. Love it.
Wasn't a fan of the hard home button. Prefer to softkeys the Epic 4G Touch had, but it's not a deal breaker.
Build quality is good. Some people don't like the plastic feel, but it is very durable. My friend dropped it once on concrete and it left a few small scratches along the corner of phone but not noticeable. One X would have been scratched as well. Iphone would have cracked for sure.
Call quality is good. GPS locks pretty quickly. Touchwiz is pretty good. All the extra features built in really make it stand out.
Camera...honestly haven't used it too much. But it works well outside. Low lighting it struggles as do most cameras on phones. The software features of the camera are pretty neat.
Check out youtube for more in depth reviews. I'd highly recommend this phone to anyone.46 out of 54 found this review helpful.
