I love this phone. My wife has an iPhone and I had an iTouch along with a regular (nonsmart) phone. I just liked the iPhone and apple OS but it was boring and conventional; its something you just get accustomed to . I had a difficult time typing/texting with my larger hands/fingers on the iPhone so when I held the store demo Galaxy phone, it felt very comfortable in my hands and was a perfect size. The screen is much larger while the phone is very light and thin, fitting easily in a pocket or purse.
The Android OS is very intuitive and does everything you could possible want it to do, better than the iPhone in my opinion. As someone that really uses numerous features of a device, the Galaxy provides just that and beyond. I even found the calendar and contacts to be much better than the very simple, plain looking app native to the iPhone.
I do have to admit, Apple has a better looking music program than the Galaxy, however the galaxy plays music with great clarity and ease, its just a very basic looking program, not a big deal honestly. There's no Facetime but Skype is available.
As a tech enthusiast I highly recommend this phone. Its intuitive enough for the casual user but even more rewarding in the hands of someone that is tech savvy. Voice commands work better than Apple's, customization is vast, just keep a charger handy and turn off background activity as it will drain your battery quickly. Both my wife and I got this same phone at the same time. That really helped with questions we both had. Usually one of us could figure it out. We both like the phone, the pictures it takes are good, and the access to the internet is new for us and enjoyable. We especially like the talk to text feature.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Extremely good phone. Got this as an upgrade for my sprint galaxy s 2 (epic 4g touch) and i haven't looked back since. I was told just get an s4 but to be honest i don't see why i should pay more $$$ for a few extra features that i can seriously just download from the android market or the web. Easy to use, large enough to see with poor eyesight, but not too big to fit in your pocket or holder. Choice of sync or not, choice of email or not. Love this phone.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
