Posted by: madsat75 from ohio on 06/19/2013Usually, the second version or the newer version of a product is supposed to be better, but for some reason, the Samsung Tablet 2 did not come with a FLASH in the Camera. Why is that? That's my only problem with this product that will keep me from recommending this to a friend and also it freezes a lot.

Great for keeping up with my on-line activities

I don't have teen or 20 something eyes and fingers so, for me, phones are too small to really do interactive account management with or to read a book for instance.
I like my laptops but they are not as portable or easy to manage as the Galaxy Tab 2.0 - power cords and/or battery concerns, keyboards, etc to manage.
The Galaxy Tab 2.0 is big enough for me to easily see everything yet smalI enough to be really portable - and the battery life is excellent so far. I have been able to use it pretty continuously for a day before needing a recharge.

Good Size & Somewhat easy to use...

Posted by: NYQnz from New York, NY on 06/18/2013If you have iOs products you may find it annoying at first because this OS is more involved but once you get used to it and create Google accounts and Samsung Accounts, you may find it "ok" to use. The learning curve for me is a little longer because I actually use this in my spare time not everyday like my iPhone, but its used for me to watch mainly movies and surf the net or watch cable tv when I choose not to use the Computer or TV. Overall, I like the Galaxy Tab ...this may help me make a choice on getting the Samsung S4 phone ...who knows.. App store though is a bit confusing where as you have Google's and Samsung's ... Book Cover Case works well. but a neoprene case to go with it would be better.

Posted by: AngieMM from California on 06/18/2013I got one of these for me which is great for use with Wi-Fi, but there is no SIM card slot (we also have the unlocked version of this device with SIM card slot). Overall this is a great deal for a very user friendly tablet, but you will need to add it to your mobile carrier plan if you want to use it on the go.

Great tablet for travel

It's more tablet than a reader; I don't know why anyone would buy a reader only when this product can do much more.

My only two complaints are the screen resolution is not so good compared to my iPad (but I knew that up front) and the screen isn't always as sensitive as I want. Sometimes you have to repeatedly hit it before it responds.
