Find with some of my games I have better picture, would be even better I think if comp. had even better graphics card, some getting used to only cause I was so used to a Square screen before but now can do 2 things at once with more space to open up 2 window/programs at once.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I love how much real-estate that I have with this monitor. I thought It would be flimsy when I looked at the floor model (because it was in the store) but once I got it home, I realized it sits very stably on my glass desk and kicks butt!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Poorly designed monitor stand forced me to return1

I had to return the monitor due to the poor design of the stand that holds the monitor. The way the monitor fits into the monitor stand forces the screen to be tilted downward (top edge of the screen closer to you than the bottom edge) instead of straight up-and-down. In fact, you can't even adjust the monitor as the stand is hard plastic and is stationary. At any rate, an extremely poor design that needs to be corrected.4 out of 8 found this review helpful.

Mounting limits it for some uses2

This product needs only a better mounting to be excellent. I bought one last night and used it then and early this morning. Then I took it back.
The visual performance was excellent, and there is a manual feature called "angle magic" that adjusts the display to accomodate off-axis viewers pretty well. The problem is that the mounting fixture does not tilt, and it is set for the display plane to be perpendicular to the desk top and only a few inches above it. That means the center is aligned with your breast bone, and the viewing angle is bad, at least if you are doing heavy duty editing in side-by-side Word documents. Samsung does have an angle magic adjustment called "standing" which materially improves the display when viewed from above. It does not, however, do anything for the difference in physical distance from the top of the monitor screen to the bottom. That means that in some uses your eyes have to constantly adjust for the different distances as you work through the pages, a big deal when you occasionally do that for hours. With a wide monitor you expect different distances in the left-to-right plane but less so in the vertical plane. This might be okay for a lot of uses, but, as some of the other commenters have said, it would increase the strain in one of my activities more than is acceptable. The pedestal upright locks in once inserted and can't be removed. If Samsung were to provide a flex mount or a tilted rigid mount like my previous Samsung monitor, this would probably be an excellent product for all uses.1 out of 3 found this review helpful.
