I would never buy one of these or even this brand again. I ended up with a Phillips which operates flawlessly.- Age Range : 45 and up

I don't write reviews ever but I find myself looking for another one of these because I bought my daughter one 5 years ago an my father one back before he died 8 years ago. Both still work. Back then they didn't make the pretty colors, just blue. But now that they have purple, they've fulfilled every desire I really want as a simple person. A simple and easily amused person. I ADORE the clip on it. You want that on an apple product and you'll pay $150 bare min. The new ipod nano is ridiculously expensive an doesn't even have a camera or other simple features the prior nano's did. So why pay $165/145 on sale for an ipod when you can get this baby for the change in your pocket? And then you can stick this right back in your pocket because it's durable-will last forever. The battery life on any mp3 player will go down after a year, maybe even need to be replaced. This keeps on trucking. Easy to use, I like to push buttons because I'm less likely to become a distracted driver or spend time fumbling on my workout as opposed to touch-screen or the ever popular "dial" feature on the ipod yet their "next" arrow is counterintuitively too small to use on the ipod. Go figure. This is like a grass roots Mp3 player to me and it's the solid piece of equipment that never fails and you can depend on when your trendy piece of junk becomes a glorified paper weight. Just sayin.- Age Range : 25-34

I rely heavily on my MP3 players, I use it in the car, on the bus and at the gym-can't live without it! I had a Sanza Fuze for barely a year and it died but I really liked the ease of use of the Sanza products so I ordered the clip. I really like how small and simple it is with a good sound quality. My satisfaction was short lived, in fact it just stopped working one day after one month. I'm done with Sanza. I also do not reccomend buying from Marketplace because trying to return/echange anything will make you want to pull your hair out.- Age Range : 25-34

I love this thing so much I now own two plus one of the newer models. I like this one slightly better than the new model. The new one is slightly bigger and has a noticeably longer pause between songs. I load mine with music I always like and use the cards for generas to suit my mood (blues, jazz, classical). I haven't noticed any durability problems with mine. I always carry one with me and my oldest one is over two years old. That's longer than my iPod lasted.- Age Range : 45 and up

I owned this mp3 player for a couple of years and it gave me no trouble whatsoever until one day, I forgot to take it out of the pocket in my shorts after I went for a walk. My wife threw my shorts in the wash and, not only threw them in the wash, but also the dryer!
After discovering that my Sansa Clip had gone throught the entire laundry routine, I took it out and turned it on. Nothing! I set it down on the counter for a couple of days and was going to throw it away. Before doing so, however, I thought I would plug it into my computer. Lo and behold, the display lit up and it showed up as connected. When viewing the files on my computer they were all intact. I then decided to let it charge for a while to see if it would hold a charge. After disconnecting I found that it still held a charge.
One note of interest is that the earphones that came with the Sansa Clip also went through the same wash and dry and survived intact.
I now not only have an inexpensive, easy to operate mp3 player, I also have one of the cleanest!- Age Range : 45 and up

volume control button broke after 38 days so can't return to Best Buy.
I had thought having a rocking volume control on the side was an improvement over the ipod style revolving volume control, but the control is now unresponsive so I can't increase the volume beyond zero. Menu system seems similar to previous Sansa pods. Takes about a minute after switching on before you see the menu --this is not an improvement over earlier models.- Age Range : 45 and up

Ive owned a couple of mp3's before and let me start by saying that the usage of this lil device is the easiest around. I was able to download tracks from my pc fast and easy. It is very lightweight and it clips on to anything. If all you want is music this is the mp3 to get, now if you'll excuse me gotta go for my daily jog while listening to my Rocky soundtrack!!- Age Range : 25-34

Basically because they are using my words to help sell their product. Nonetheless I purchased this product for my 21 year old austic son. His brother had an IPod and he wanted something as well.
I flip-floped between the Sony walkman 4g and this model. Both seem pretty well and are priced near the same. I have to say SanDisk did a very good with this product. It is very easy to carry and the snap on was the final selling point for my son. The music is clear and crispand the controls very easy. Even an austic young man can do.
I think the fact that the product is so consumer oriented it is big selling point that persons with disabilites can use this prodcut with ease.
He loaded a few hundred of my oldies onto his model and is happy as a clam with the player.
Thank you SanDisk for making a product that my son can use to enjoy his music.- Age Range : 18-24
