Nice versitle stands, except for the cheap knob3

These stands are versitle and can adapt to almost any shape of speaker, but I had to buy some extra hardware and improve the tightening screw/knob. I do like that there are pointed pedistal feet that allow you to push it into the carpet for more stability.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

The assembly was pretty straight forward and I like the fact that I could set the speakers at a higher height than the actual Bose speaker stands.
What I don't care for is the bracket you need to use to mount he small Bose speakers. It is too tall and sticks up above the speaker by about 2 1/2". I think that they need to make the L shaped bracket an adjustable one so that it can be shortened so it won't stick up above a Bose speaker..0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Waste Of Money1

These stands are cheaply made. I cannot believe they charge $80. If you have at least somewhat decent speakers, do not waste your time and money on these stands. What's so bad about the stands you ask? When extending the height of the stands, the tightener does not stay tight enough to keep the height from falling.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Bought these to go with my Boston Accoutics surround sound speakers and I couldn't be happier. Solid speakers stands that were easy to set up. Also, they look great in our family room.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Over all I am happy with the EFSATB. I was looking for a pair that could flank my dinning room table, contemporary, but sleek looking, and they look just fine.
The base could use a little more weight for stability ,and the height adjustment screw on my pair wouldn't be able to withstand a lot of
height changes.
For my use it looks good, and works just fine.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Decided at the last minute to replace my existing speaker stands. Purchased these the morning of setting up my system. The were easy to setup and fit my speakers. the were perfect next to the TV/Audio cabinet.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Would have rated higher, but...3

I would have given these stands four stars, but for a defective part. One of the six rubber feet was too fat and wouldn't fit in the hole. The other 5 were OK. It's interesting how a small, cheap part can render a pair of speaker stands useless. We'll see how long it takes Sanus to ship me a new one. (I could, of course, go to a hardware store and buy six replacement feet, but that defeats the purpose and convenience of buying online.) The stands are otherwise decent and should do the job. However, I wouldn't use them for really expensive speakers.
As an aside, Best Buy's price, online ordering process and speed of delivery were excellent.
(Best Buy, ditch the exclamation point after "I would recommend this to a friend." I don't get that excited about hardware.)0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I have four of these for a 7.1 channel surround my surround and surround backs are all four mounted to these using the double sided tape. The speakers are all polk monitor 2 30 series and the stands hold them just fine in carpet with carpet spikes. Only downfall is one out of each box doesn't like to tighten the extension rod so it's secure I had to replace my plastic knobs with longer screws which worked much better overall perfect for using surrounds over the top of couches and many other uses1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Good Materials, Poor Construction2
Posted by:

This stand is poorly designed. Although it does give the user many configuration options, none of them are very stable or well constructed. Attaching the adjustable poles to the base is one screw that can easily loosen with any movement. The same is true of the top plate that holds the speaker plate, it too can easily loosen and cause the speaker to lean left or right. The materials are of good quality but the design and construction are only fair to poor.0 out of 1 found this review helpful.
