Enhance the sound quality of your home theater system with elegant speaker stands from Sanus. Adjust the stands' height from 26" to 39" to find the perfect listening level for your speakers.
Posted by: ITBen from Huntsville, AL on 05/19/2013The speaker stands look good, and are made of good quality materials. However, if you plan to hide your speaker wires by running them through the stand, have your speaker wire ready to run through the stand during assembly. The speaker stands have a curved section in the metal tubing that I could only run the speaker wire (16 gauge) through with the stand unassembled.
The stands also come with some adapters and a few different types of screws to accomodate speakers with different mounting configurations.
I gave durability a 4/5 because the adjustable part of the stands limit the amount of weight that can be held, and the piece that screws to lock the height is made of plastic. Other than the one plastic piece, everything else seems to be some type of metal.
I mounted a pair of Insignia brand bookshelf speakers (model: NS-SP211) on these stands to use as the rear speakers in my 5.1 surround sound speaker system.

Nice stands, made them work for my speakers.

Posted by: Castironstrawbreaker from Here, USA on 05/10/2013Not bad for the money. I was afraid with the age & appearance of my speakers I couldn't make it work. A little Velcro in the right spots gave me a fair looking stand. Stands are important for some audiophiles, Best Buy ignores us with only one type & brand.

Posted by: Bankerman from The Shadows on 05/06/2013Set up my surround sound and wanted stands that could fit any of the many systems I have blown cash on in the past. these stands fit the bill. Nice and sturdy but the base is a little large and shaped like an egg,

Great Speaker Stands for Great Price
5
Posted by: Petey335 from Michigan on 05/06/2013Great set of speaker stands for pretty much any speaker you have. Great price and hides the speaker wire. Heavy weight so they won't tip over. The only drawback would be the large base and having the floor space for it. I would give a 9 out of 10 to this product.

Not for Bose
4
Posted by: Noneatall from Houston, TX on 05/06/2013Best Buy recommended these with Bose Cinemate GS II. The speakers do mount, but they mount a little awkwardly. The Bose wires (custom just for Bose) can't fit thru the stand. So my wires run up the back end of the stand and are held on with twist ties. Not really Sanus fault since Bose are intentionally being difficult. However, it is Best Buy's fault for recommending as compatible. Would rather have paid a little more to get the Bose stands (assuming the wires would fit thru). These stands do seem durable and don't give you the feeling that they'll break or be knocked over too easily.

Works perfect with Bose Speakers
5
Posted by: Pcnh from Mount Vernon WA on 05/03/2013The BestBuy floor sales person said it would not work with my Bose speakers. He said I had to buy original Bose stands after looking at the picture in the box I realize the speakers showing there were Bose. Good thing I didn't listen otherwise I would have been over $50 dollars short in my pocket. It does take a while to figure out how to assemble it but once you do it is solid product, looks good and no problems so far except the price.
