After driving around Waterloo, this was the only option under 300.00. Mounted to the ceiling fairly easy. The universal mount to the projector was the most difficult part. 4 legs, three holes in the Optima projector and getting the right combination of the legs was the puzzle. Finally took the 4th leg and used it to apply pressure. The plastic ring around the bottom portion broke pretty easy, was able to hide the tape fix. Now that its in place and tightened down, its holding and working very nicely.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

has adjustments in every direction -- simple install -- adjusts with phillips screwdriver and allen key -- hardest part was figuring which way you need to mount it to the projector5 out of 5 found this review helpful.

Minor issue with this mount3

Works well and installs fairly easily. If I were you I would go to Sanus's web site and download the installation instructions. What I got in the box were pictures with a very short notes on what to do. It wasn't always clear how things worked/fit together. The downloaded manual explains things in detail.
One other issue and I've seen this complaint on another site is that the screws (4) used for projector alignment are not that well made and the treads are not well done and this may cause you to put to much torque on the screw head and you may strip the phillips screws heads rather easily. I suggest that you replace these with some #10 allen head screws which you can get at a local hardware store. This may only be an issue with the one I bought and because the box is not sealed you cannot tell if it may have been used and then returned with missing paperwork and burred up threads. But it is easy to work around if you do have this issue.8 out of 8 found this review helpful.

I purchased this with the Optoma HD-20 sold in the store. The mount is actually too big for this projector.2 out of 10 found this review helpful.

i bought this to mount my mitsubishi HC1600. its very versatile, adjusts easily to any angle needed, and the standard pipe thread worked great for getting the mount below my drop ceiling and hiding the cords.5 out of 5 found this review helpful.

Easy to set up mount.5

I wasnt sure about this mount but it was the only one I could find in stock anywhere in Birmingham. I didnt want to wait to install the new projector so I bought this one rather than ordering one online. I found it to be easy to install and fairly quick. Its sturdy and holds my projector firmly and looks good with the cover. The hardest part is going in the attic to install the wooden brace between the rafters for support. I used a piece of a 2x10 and four three inch deck screws. Im not worried about it falling down now. Overall good product and easy install if you have some basic handyman skills. Also comes with several different size screws to fit various thread sizes.16 out of 18 found this review helpful.

Poor Quality2

The problem I had is that the bolt covers were not threaded far enough so they could not grip the bolt. I put the mount on my projector but could not tighten the bolts. We pulled up and the mount came loose with very little pressure.
I ended up having to use some bolts and covers from my old projector mount. I could not believe I paid $150 for something that was this poorly made. I may still take this back and try to get something better. Go with another product if at all possible.11 out of 17 found this review helpful.
