Great for proper use, not great for ease of access

Posted by: colebob94 from Overland Park, KS on 02/09/2013The app that allows the device to be controlled through the ipod does not detect the transmitter device, therefore it can't be used to change the radio stations, change music, or provide a very easy access to modifying the transmitter in any way.
However, if this doesn't bug you; this transmitter does work well for its primary uses. I would recommend this.

Useful for iPhone 4 and earlier

Posted by: RfromPA from Pennsylvania on 01/26/2013I bought this for my GF when Best Buy suggested as a add-on for the iPad I bought her. But it only fits the earphone jack which created iffy sound. It does have an adapter for her iPhone4S and works very well with it. It charges the phone and conveys the sound to the radio pretty well. The downside is it is a pain to keep tuning it and the radio to match each other and if left plugged in will affect the range of your door lock remote.

Posted by: stillimw from on 12/01/2012Bought this for my wife. There are cheaper products on the market, but they seem to have a lot of interference. My wife says she hasn't had any static or interference issues.

The plug in piece broke after using it twice

Posted by: GEM11 from Plymouth on 01/07/2012I purchased this for a trip to FLA. The plastic broke on the plug in piece after using it twice. It has gone passed the return date so I had to super glue it. Cheap design. Not worth the price.

Nothing more than a night light

Posted by: ylwsub68 from on 12/25/2011I got this for Christmas and the set up is easy enough: plug it in to your car, tune it to a frequency with dead air, tune your car radio to the same station, and play your music. But after many attempts on many different radios in many different cars, this product did not perform at all. The backlight turned on, the numbers were there, and you could tune it, but when you tune your radio to the same station, you only hear static. Not even a hint of the music you're trying to play. I'm very disappointed; Best Buy usually sells products that work, but this one just plain doesn't. I don't know if I got a bad one out of the batch, but this is the first and last Scosche product I will be buying.
