The PHD works fine. No problems with it.
It suggested using USB 3.0 so I bought a USB card.
Not much to review, as all is does is store things.
I probably bought too big of a size though. After transfering all my files to the HD, I used up all of 25 GB. I decided to use this drive to keep videos and pictures and other file to keep from filling my desktop with junk.
It is nice to be able to unplug this and take it with you.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

My son installed it so I don't know whether was easy or not. But using it for storing music & pics and making cds from music stored is super easy and I have not had any problems with it and have been using it for 3 months. I did get it on sale at Best Buy so that's why $ is excellent.. The USB cable is rather cheap as it comes out easily / unexpectedly if jostled, but other than that I have no complaints about the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 750 GB External Portable Hard drive. I only use it to store music & pics cause pc ran out of room and am not using the backup function.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Got it on black Friday for a great price. Unfortunately you get what you pay for. After a little over 1 month of use, the thing started humming and then crashed. Piece of junk, do not waste you money on this one!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Good drive but problem with connector2

I read many reviews before buying and most of the review were of having bad connector. I didn't believe until I got one myself. It is a good drive when you see performance and the fact that it works with MAC & PC at same time.
However, even without moving the drive, sometimes it gives "Delay in writing" error cause due to lose connection. The cable doesn't seems to be loose however it is not stable enough for transferring good amount of data. I will not trust this drive with critical data.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

The Seagate is effortless to install and operate. It works with both my PC and MacBook. It travels with me weekly with no reliability issues. The included backup software works perfectly and runs in the background with little or no noticeable impact on PC response.
There are other drives out there that offer more storage for the same money, but all things considered, I 'm happy with the purchase.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
