Although I had to give training on the use of the remote control to family members, it worked very well. My biggest complaint is that no one seems to take pride in making a good product that lasts, but that this makers seem more concerned with making money. Although I prefer to focus on the good, bottom line is, I spent money on a Sharp product that did not last much longer than the warranty. This was my first Sharp product purchase. I have Toshiba and Sony products that have lasted 6-14+ years and will buy there brands from now on.

Great system for my office

However, it took a while to get used to the remote control because some of the features can only be accessed with the remote (i.e. random play of CD songs). The speaker wires are pretty short which limits positioning. I replaced an old system and couldn't position the speakers as I had before due to the short connection wires.

There are very few stereo systems that have all of these features. This one is a great product for the price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a home stereo that is not difficult to use!
