Good TV choice for the price

I wanted a larger TV and plan on selling my house and hope for a bigger living room later. It is just fine in my living room. It does look very big in there, but the picture is very good. The sound is not very good so you definitely need surround sound or some kind of speaker system. It has 4 HDMI hookups so that is a nice feature. Watching games and movies are nice and clear too.

HDMI issues, otherwise good

Posted by: from Memphis, TN on 02/01/2012Still can't seem to get UVerse and TV to connect with HDMI. Not sure if I have bad ports or if some kind of weird tech glitch. Sometimes it would work, sometimes no signal. AT&T guy said he had heard of some audio issues with larger Sharp Aquos TVs and UVerse, but wasn't aware of anything like this. Changed cables, changed DVR receiver. Finally fixed with component cables.

Great TV!

Posted by: from MA on 01/26/2012We recently upgraded from our very old projection TV to this model and absolutely love it! The picture quality is great and it didn't need a lot of adjustment at all! It's great for sports, video games and DVDs. The sound is a little weak but we just plugged in surround sound and it's excellent now. Would definitely recommend this TV, it's huge and the picture is excellent for the amount we spent!

Posted by: from Lewisville TX on 01/25/2012Everything seems to work GREAT! No problems and don;t expect any at this point. Sound is not great but it works pretty good. Bought a soundbar, but TV speakers are more convenient and don't notice too much of a difference. Only use sound bar for movies.

Perfect for our needs...

Posted by: from Columbus, GA on 01/25/2012This TV is perfect for my gamer hubby. He loves to use his xbox 360 to watch netflix and play online games. He's into just about anything... COD, Batman, Halo, MW3, whatever... I gave him this TV as a total surprise for Christmas. After playing around with the settings, he is LOVING the picture quality. And the size... Well, it's HUGE. And he was shocked that I was able to get him one so big - which I wouldn't have if I'd gone for plasma or LED - they are just so much more costly. This is a GREAT basic TV with an awesome picture quality - especially for someone who isn't caught up in all the bells and whistles of internet, tons of ports, etc. We've seen no problems at all with fast motion pictures... just perfect quality and HD movies are AMAZING on this badboy. Loving it!
