good value for a skullcandy brand

Posted by: nerfherder76 from detroit,mi on 05/17/2013i thought this was a good price for a skullcandy set of ear buds. for the most part they work really well, but they do have a tendency to go out every once in awhile. you have to unplug and replug the jack from your device a few times and they go back to working. this can be very annoying, but when they do work, they work well.

They were a clear upgrade to the stock apple iPod headphones that cost $30, it had a great bass, and it only cost $39.99 at the time I purchased them. However, I recently purchased the Ultimate Ears 350vi for $59.99 and to say that the UE 350's are an upgrade to the titans is a severe understatement. Not only do the UE 350's have booming bass like the titans but much more clarity in mids, highs and lows. If you don't mind spending a tad more money for in-ears, I would ignore the titans and go straight for UE 350's. I've experienced both monitors, and I can now say with confidence that the titans aren't worth the money.

Nice sound for the price

The only thing I could complain about is the mic. the functionality is kinda suspect. The controls don't work the way they are supposed to. The best thing about the earbuds are the warranty they are gauranteed for life and you can't beat that!

A Solid Investment in Earbuds

For a while, I've used a set of one-piece earbuds, but couldn't stand the hardness and discomfort of them, so I got a hold of these. Having the silicone earbuds is a sure plus for this set and others like it. The sound quality at least appears to be a cut above the regular Skullcandy material. However, I'd like to say that its primary function is its durability. I work an outdoor job around a lot of machinery and not once have my current set of headphones busted under duress of the job or any accidents. If you want something that will stick around and retain its value for a good long while, these buds are good for you.
