    Wonderful surround sound

That is what started this whole adventure......decided to finally buy an HGTV, new surround sound and cabinet to hold all of it. Your store did not have the cabinet, so I shopped around and found just what I wanted at Target. Everything is absolutely beautiful and just what I wanted.

    Great sll in one system

Sounds great. The family room is not huge so it works great in there. More than emough power. Sound quality is excellent. For the casual mover wayer I recommend this system!

    A great system for the money

    Posted by: from Tucson, AZ on 03/02/2013Initially I bought a much cheaper Samsung system, but the sound quality on it was so bad that I took it back. Bought this system and was blown away with the picture and sound quality. It was very easy to hook up and the rear speakers being wireless make for a really nice feature. I was not at all interested in the built in Wi-Fi (I've given up with Netflix and the similar sites), but I went ahead and let it connect to my router just for the heck of in, and I'm glad I did. Now I'm able to view movies, music, and photos directly off my computer without having to put them on a disc or USB drive. I've got media of all different sorts, CD's DVD's Blu-Ray, both store bought and home made, and everything I've tried so far works great on this system. I really like the way it automatically adjusted the speakers for the surround sound. And setting the FM stations was no problem at all...only takes a few minutes to set the ones I wanted. Costco carries almost the same system (theirs comes with the HDMI cord) with a regular price of about $450.00. I checked with Amazon and they sell the same system as Best Buy with a price of about $370.00. I printed up the Amazon ad and Best Buy matched the price with no further questions (Although Costco gives great deals and service, they don't price match.) My only complaint about the system (and it's not even really a complaint) is I would prefer to have the discs load from the front like most other systems I've seen. Having to load the disc by just sliding it in a slot from the side on the top of the machine is a little awkward. But all things considered, this is a great system.

    Not loud enough, my little $150 stereo is better

There is a wireless unit that you place to the rear and the rear speakers plug in to that. It's more of a pain than if there were wires running directly from the main unit. I have nowhere to place it where my cat won't think its a toy specifically for his amusement. Nevertheless, I hooked it up to try it. With the volume turned full blast, I can have a conversation over it while barely raising my voice. I hooked my ipod to the included dock. It was another disappointment. You can only scroll menus like an old MP3 player. Playlists and files are your choices. What? I can't even get to my apps to use my music apps. There are no letters on the remote. You have to use the up and down keys to go through the alphabet on the tv screen. Insane. It's not even a full on-screen keyboard. I can't imagine having to try to search youtube or netflix with that. All that being said, the picture is nice quality. Youtube streams well, and clear. That's about all I got on the good side. I'm completely disappointed and now I have to spend an hour packing this thing up to return it.

    Decent surround sound for the price

    Posted by: from Los Angeles, CA on 02/08/2013Decent sound quality, good surround and deep, rich bass. The rear speakers are actually connected to a box that talks to the receiver. It's not the best setup, but for the price, it's still amazing. The first set I brought home had a weird glitch where the volume would suddenly start turing itself up (or down). It was like somebody was behind me with a remote. The volume would go up, up, up all the way and then down, down, down all the way. It was really frustrating. But Best Buy swapped it out for a whole new set and now they work great. No complaints. Great sound. Great value.
