Beware if you own a Panasonic plasma1

Bought the glasses yesterday for my Panasonic Panasonic VIERA TC-P50UT50 (also purchased at Best Buy and a great TV!).
The glasses should be universal and seem like they would work with the Panasonic TV.
However, despite my best efforts, I could not get them to sync with my TV.
I wasn't sure if it could be user error as these were my first 3D glasses.
I took them back and bought the comparably priced Samsung ( SSG-4100GB @ $19.99) glasses. The sync with the TV on those took less than 5 seconds.
I will miss the rechargeable function, but they are more comfortable and....hey, they work.2 out of 4 found this review helpful.

I have not owned these 24 hours yet. I have a Mitshibushi DLP that the glasses sync' d with the instant I turned them on. I watched about 5 minutes of Avatar and it looked fantastic. That is the only experience I have with the glasses. They also have an on/ off switch where some glasses turn off automatically. My other glasses are Blick , which I payed more for. I can not comment on loosing sync as I have not used them long enough. The picture looked great, they charged fast, and were comfortable. I would buy them again.3 out of 5 found this review helpful.

Original Samsung 3D glasses cost a fortune ($150/glass). This, I got on sale for $20. Very nice. Rechargable battery, good coverage and great compatibility.
Rememeber, this may not work with newer Samsung models that have BluTooth 3D instead of Infrared 3D emitter/synchronizer.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I could not get these to sync to my Panasonic TV, there were no instruction’s about that. I even checked online and could not find anything. I returned them and bought the Panasonic glasses.0 out of 7 found this review helpful.

suggested by in store salesperson as an inexpensive option for viewing 3D (and simulated 3D) on my new Sony television. they work great and are a great value compared to the typical 3D glasses.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Great 3d glasses for a Sony 3d tv5

I bought these glasses for my Ps3 3d display and they work perfectly with the display. They fit comfortably on your head and it has a dean usable nose piece. I wouldn't know if they would be compatible with other 3d tv's but if its a Sony 3d tv, then I'm sure it would work. Overall I would recommend to give these glasses a try because they are among the best least expensive 3d glasses out there.1 out of 3 found this review helpful.

I'm new to 3D, but it seems they could come up with glasses that are lighter and more comfortable.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
