Everything you could want in a TV plus 3D

I currently have 3 other 3D TV's and the picture quality, viewing angle and overall reliably of this TV blows the others out of the water especially for the price. Set up was real easy took about 5-10 min. to set up the base for it and my network and the TV was ready to go.

Everything Is Great Except The Volume, It Goes Up To A 100 And I Have To Go Up To 60 Or Above Must Of The Times To Hear Sounds Good. But Overall It's A Great TV..... Also The Features Like Netflix Are Great.

Great TV for the price

Posted by: from Augusta, GA on 02/15/2012I bought this tv to replace my 8 year old 42" Sony and I am extremely satisfied. Picture is great once you tweak the settings. The standard settings do not offer as good of a picture as calibrating it yourself, which isnt very hard at all. I really enjoy being able to tweak individual inputs to my liking, that was a nice surprise. Setup was easy mounting to the stand and plugging in components. Setting up the wifi was a headache though. I use a Netgear router and out fo the box the TV would connect to my router but not the internet. I researched for two days before hardwiring the tv to my router which didnt help. I had to hardwire to my modem, update the tv, and then I was able to (with ease I might add) connect to the internet wirelessly. Sound is fine in my living room but its nothing I would brag about to my friends. I would recommend using a surround sound feature with this tv. Gaming on it is spectacular. Crisp pictures on both the 360 and my PS3. Havent tried out the 3d aspect yet so I can not comment on it as of yet. Viewing angles are awesome for this tv too, nothing gets lost if you are not center or viewing from the side. The remote is a little slow to respond but all in all its a great product for the price.

Very good but not awsome

Posted by: from 01060 on 02/02/2012This TV replaced a 42" plasma. While the screen is much bigger and can do 3D the plasma had sharper colors and deeper blacks. The problem with the plasma is screen burn in. DONT believe the sales people when they claim only the older plasma screen had the problem. The default colors on the TV are just a bit off and it does take some tweaking to get them right. Overall I am very happy with the TV and being able to view Netflix directly on the TV is pretty cool.

Good picture for the price, speaker are a waste

Posted by: from Houston, TX on 02/01/2012This TV has a picture quality consistent and slightly above its price range. However, as with a lot of reviews, the speakers are completely unusable. This may as well be a monitor. My short term solution was to plug it into a first-generation Bose wave radio and it was a staggering improvement. I am happy with the purchase and knew the issue with the speaker beforehand.

Posted by: from Spotsylvania, VA on 01/19/2012I was kind of hesitant at first about getting the T.V. because it said LED and the box said LCD adhanced LED so I felt like it wasn't a true LED, but the picture is bright like other LED's. I still haven't tried out the 3D blu-ray with the glasses yet so I don't know how that is going to be.
