CD Cassette & Good Sound

Good sound and less than average FM reception

excellent stereo for indoors

Booming Sound, strange button arrangement

I'll probably end up adding highlights to those to find them more easily. Sony has a rep. for complexity when it's not needed and this is the same. overall the sound this jambox offers beats the alternatives.

These people saying that they are having issues with high volume, TURN DOWN THE BASS! Of course the sound is going to get distorted when you have the bass on max at max volume. I find the best sound (for rock music) At about 6 on the volume with the equalizer on rock. Hiphop and rap on flat. But besides that. I am really happy for what i paid and I believe that this thing sounds better than the bose ipod radio. Also I work in a loud place and this cuts through the noise clearly. I was very skeptical before hearing this. So as far as me recommending this thing, Sony has my vote.

WHETHER JAZZ, CLASSIC ROCK, GOSPEL, HIP HOP, ETC. THIS STEREO WILL NOT BACK DOWN, EVEN WHEN IT'S PLAYED AT PEAK LEVEL FOR HOURS AND HOURS. IT'S A WORKHORSE. WITH THE AVAILABLE AUX INPUT I CAN PLUG UP MY MUVE MUSIC PHONE AND CHILL. OVERALL IT'S AN AWESOME PIECE OF MACHINERY.
