Full web browser was my main reason for purchase over the Roku. The easy to use remote with a navigating pad on one side and qwerty keyboard on the other just makes browsing the web on your TV a great experience. I've had it for several months and no major issues. Some apps can be buggy but my overall experience is enjoyable.

Anytime I am watching something and I remember I need to look something up on the web I just pop it into picture in picture mode so I can keep watching while I surf. When I'm doing my homework and I want some tunes, I can load up Pandora or my own collection from Google Music. All of the TV functions are fluid and work as expected. I couldn't be more pleased.

Here they are charging 199.99 but at the sony website it is just 169.00

Great Google TV device

Posted by: CineFan from Maryland on 05/10/2013This is replacing my Logitech Revue, I got it because of the faster processor and smaller remote. It does a better job than the Revue, but it did freeze on me a couple times. Also, sometimes I am using the audio track for a couple seconds out of the blue...Might be that I need to tweak it some more.
Overall I am happy with it but I do think it could be a bit cheaper.

I could not find Hulu Plus so I went to the Google store to download it but I got an error when I tried to get to it. I also tried its Web browser to a streaming movies site and was disappointed. It did not display as a computer's web browser and I could not find what I want. I returned it and bought an Apple TV.

As I learned from my research and the best buy associate confirmed, what sets this apart from competitors like roku is the built in web browser. Though this is a really handy feature, I'm still not sure it's worth as much of a price jump. Overall I'm very happy though, as I use the product daily.
