Great for the price. Has some minor issues.

Posted by: from Los Angeles, CA on 05/14/2013The 3D display is great for the price and works very well with the PS3 for 3D viewing and gaming. My only real complaints are the speakers are pretty miserable, the screen has a little too much gloss, and the stand is shaky at best.

Great 3D monitor when it worked

After 3 months however, stopped turning on and had red/green/blue lights of death. After online search, seems to be a common problem with these, will contact Sony support.

Not as bad as people say

Posted by: from Philadelphia, PA on 05/01/2013I have used this product three ways: 1) As a TV, it lacks a TV tuner so you can't get free QAM HD channels. I have used my Comcast tuner with it and it works fine EXCEPT it doesn't display premium channels like HBO for some reason. I had to return to my trusty Samsung HDTV because of this. 2) As a computer monitor, it is decent and works in a pinch, but falls short in quality and clarity if you compare to an actual computer monitor. 3) Dedicated gaming monitor. This is where it shines. I have my PS3 and XBox plugged into this.

Makes a great monitor

The picture on this display is very sharp and vibrant and when playing games or watching blu-rays it is amazing. The 3d is superb and sony proves with this display that they know how to utilize the 3d technology with there products. The only draw back to this display is it does not have a built in tuner or a remote. But if you have any other sony products such as a TV or blu-ray player the remotes for those will work with this tv.

Wish It Worked

Unfortunately mine had too many issues and the only other one available in the store was another open box return. Screen had an incredibly loud hum whenever turned on. Image looked crystal clear when it was working. Never had a chance to test the 3D.

I use it more for playing blu-rays than playing video games and that might be a factor but so far so good. Love the size and 1080p resolution!
