Overall this was a great value, in comparing other sound bars in this price category, this was by far the best. We love that it is wireless from the sub. Bass is awesome while watching anything, movies, news, music.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

So I bought this yesterday and I spent a few hours testing it out on everything from blu-rays to Xbox games to listening to music via the Bluetooth function. The system is murdered out and black compliments everything. The bass is deep without being muddy and when I was watching The Grey, which I have seen at least 4 times, I felt the same way I did when I first watched it in theaters.
Hearing wolves from every corner and what not, stressing me out all types.
It's a super solid system at a great price. Get your hands on one.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Was upgrading from a 37" to a 55" TV and knew the sound on the bigger TV would be below average. I have a 5.1 surround system that is relatively old and we had to clear out the space to make room for the larger TV. The item was very easy to setup. When I started testing it via blu-ray movies and xbox360 games the sound was amazing. It may not quite do the duty of a 5.1 system but it definitely comes close. The only part you miss obviously is the rear channels but in my experience the sound coming from the rear has always been kind of ho-hum at least in systems in my price range. Turn this soundbar up and it is more then capable of rocking my 12 by 22 ft living room. The only down falls I see are the looks/style of the soundbar isnt the prettiest but thats minor. The menu is a little hard to dig thru since you only have a small lcd panel showing you what you are doing. I would definitely recommend this item for anyone looking to upgrade TV sound or having a decent audio system without all the wires and hookups receivers can have4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

Great value for a compact system5

I have a 5.1 system in my family room but I did not want to run speakers through my living room so we looked for something to use for movies that would be more compact.
I have been looking for a sound bar since we replaced our TV in November and kept coming back to this one. After reading all the reviews, we got it a couple weeks ago and we really like it. You won't tell much difference on a lot of network shows like sitcoms but if you play music through it or watch movies it is great. I played with the treble and bass settings because I like more bass. My wife, who originally was not interested in the sound bar, admits it is nice now that she hears the difference. She also likes music from my MP3 player (analog) or phone (Bluetooth). My wife also likes the fact that we can put the bar behind the TV so the sound bar is not sitting out front.
It is not the same as having a surround sound system as has been stated multiple times but you are not paying the price of the surround sound system either. This is a great system to get better sound than TV speakers.
We have multiple things hooked to the TV as most people do (cable box, blu-ray, Xbox and now the sound bar). We are using a programmable remote that controls everything fairly well. There are a few things that I guess I could program but I have not found the need to do so.4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

This is a good value for the money. You certainly can get more sound from a full blown home theater, but this is much smaller and easier to set up. I replaced a home theater with this sound bar and I am pleased with the sound.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

This sound bar is a good home theater solution when you don't want a lot of components. The wireless subwoofer is great and the whole system is a snap to set up. The Bluetooth is great for playing music from your iPhone. This was also very affordable.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.
